Cool Excursion - Miguel was an awesome tour guide! For the price I can't complain, had a great time riding around and getting to interact with the locals and also enjoyed jumping in the 25ft cave. If you're seeking to get ridiculously muddy this is the excursion for you. Please be advised eye gear isn't provided, if you desire to rent a pair I believe the price quoted was $15.00. Only reason we weren't able to rent a pair is because they accept USD but could only give change in peso.

Okay for price - For the price I can't complain but they were almost 45 mins late in picking us up and told us they were late because they had an issue picking up another passenger but we were the first ones on the bus. We didn't start the excursion until 2 hours after our pickup time and we were waiting on the bus and it was HOT. The driver kept doing personal trips in between which delayed us which was also annoying. The cave is fun but the vendors HARRASS you to buy things! Some of the buggies kept braking down and have seen better days. We only got 20 mins at the beach and even then they wanted us to stop and buy their junk. I have been to DR multiple times with other buggy companies and they were all better than this one unfortunately. I got what I paid for.

Don't book this event. You will be disappointed! Not as advertised. Every 2 min someone broke down. - We was picked up first, then went to other hotels to pick up others. Transportation was like being on a funfair ride. It was a cage with narrow bench seats. Seems exciting at first then got a headache and stiff neck from the metal banging over each speed bump (there are loads of speed bumps) Just before we arrived we had passed other buggy operators. The ones at the front looked new and was cleaned before use. I started to get excited again, then after passing plenty of buggy companies we finally arrived. They gave a speech about the rules which was straight forward. We was then told we are not going to the beach on the buggy. I asked why and the guy walked away mumbling something I did not understand. Before joining the buggy I asked when would we get our free water. They said no free water. My wife had to show them the booking form. We had to wait until other other people had gone then received it. When we got to the buggy it was still wet and muddy from previous users. We finally set off. I got all excited again, within 3 minutes we arrived at a shop. My radiator then leaked and burnt my back (it was situated just behind our heads) they said they would fix it whilst in the shop. After a speech from the shop about coffee and chocolate, they gave a taster for free. After that they had replaced my buggy. I thought that was great. We then started driving on the road then onto a dirt track. This was wet n muddy it was great fun. Someone in front broke down. Staff was on hand to fix it. Then this was a recurring event every 1 -2 minutes with other buggies. In total mine stalled and broke down around 8 times. Multiply this by 7 buggies. It was very stop start which then spoilt it. This is probably why we could not go to the beach, they wouldn't make it. We then went to a cave with a spring. That was nice. Then it was a drive back. Total driving time was around 15-20 minutes if that, as everything was in close proximity. There was a bit of hard selling in all 3 places which is to be expected in tourist attractions. Everyone on the cage truck was not happy either. The company needs to reinvest money back into their equipment The mechanic looked a bit peed of by the end of the day. One thing that angered me was the mechanic filled up someone's radiator and disposed of the 3 empty bottles into the bushes (disrespecting their neighbours land) there was lots of chickens in most of the fields and they could get poisoned from the engine coolant. The journey back was much longer as we had to pick up more passengers from another caged truck and drop them off before us. I felt totally disappointed with this so called adventure. Use another company I don't believe the company used are vetted properly.
