History filled day with brilliant guide and driver - A fantastic tour of the fort and park, with lots of history and great views.
I was surprised when I arrived and was the only member of the tour, but the guide explained it would still run!
My guide; Gabriel and driver; Victor were absolutely brilliant. We managed to do all the trails in the park including a beautiful walk through ‘woodpeckers forest’. Gabriel provided an informative history of the fort and surrounding strait and was very friendly and accommodating.
Victor stopped the bus for me on the way back to town when we spotted a sea lion and dolphins from the shore for a better look and chance to take photos. There are often whales, dolphins and sea lions on this stretch.
A brilliant half day out, definitely recommend if you have a few days in Punta Arenas to see the beautiful park and historic fort reconstruction.

Wonderful, unmissable, culture and landscapes. Perfect panorama - I returned to Punta Arenas after 35 years, during my adolescence the trip to Fuerte Bulnes was a classic, I loved it. Now with the Visitor Center, it is a tremendous walk, beautiful!! museum, cafeteria, bathrooms, souvenirs, trails to the beach, it is SPECTACULAR!
We went in January, very windy. Go warm, hopefully a hat.
Unmissable, you have to go!

Tour Operator Valeria was amazing! - First of all Valeria, the tour operator was phenomenal at keeping in touch with us. Our cruise was 3 hours late to port and she sent texts and emails reassuring not to worry that she would wait for us. Once on board the tour, details on the city, fort, and surroundings were fantastic. Plenty of time was given for walks and photos, stopping along the way in extra spots along the way. I would highly recommend her and her company Vientos del Sur. They made us feel welcomed and added that personal touch.

Valeria, of local tour operator, was very efficient in making it possible for us to take the tour. - Valeria, of local tour operator Vientos del Sur, spent a considerable amount of time in making it possible for us to take the tour. Then tour itself was interesting and covered the advertised itinerary. We recommend using Viator - Vientos del Sur, when in Punta Arenas, Chile.

Great trips - My group was the only one in the group, and the tour was fantastic. There are amazing views at the park, and the museum was very interesting. The guide was very king and knowledgeable, and the van was very clean. I would definitely recommend

Feedback on Fort Tour - Overall the tour was good, weather did not really cooperate but that was not the guides fault, my only reason for a slightly lower review is that we were on a small tour, 7 people, and we were the only non Spanish speaking couple. The guide did a reasonable job of explaining things in English, but spent 75% of the tome chatting in Spanish, which left us feeling we were not getting the same full explanation as the rest of the tour.

The views of the nearby... - The views of the nearby islands or mountains were the best. You can finish the tour in about 15 mins.

Nice place, but better go there independently - The place is beautiful and suggestive, but the trip here proposed is a theft nice and good. Two people for the same price, I rent a car two days and I have money left over.
Also I had booked Guide in English, while he spoke only Spanish (for 10 minutes). Entrance fee separately. You're basically buying a to-from transfer. Might as well use Uber.

Make sure there is an English guide if you don’t speak Spanish - We signed up the trip and checked the box for an English tour guide. On the day of picking up, there is only a driver speaking Spanish only. Two other parties are Chilean and therefore not a problem for them. We missed all introductions en route to the fort. Fortunately the ranger gave a 15 minutes English briefing on site. The fort and surrounding waterfront are worth to visit though.

Nearly ruined the trip. - They contacted and canceled the tour the night before the tour was supposed to start (at about 17:30). Nearly ruined everything since the next day was the last day I would be in Punta Arenas before moving to Torres del Paine. I understand schedules can change, however they could have informed me earlier so that I could try and find another agency. But they contacted me when all agencies, except for one, had been closed. I ended up doing the tour with this other agency (the only open one at that time), but since they only had it for private tours and didn't have any group tours, I ended up having to pay more more than twice than the viator price.
