Unique experience - An unforgettable experience with Exploor Trip! From the start, everything was perfectly organized, with a caring and friendly team that made us feel very welcome. The visit to the Uros was fascinating; learning about their floating islands and way of life was really enriching. In Amantaní, we were welcomed by a local family who opened the doors of their home and allowed us to immerse ourselves in their culture, sharing traditional meals and unique moments. The walk to the viewpoint to watch the sunset was just magical. Taquile surprised us with its incredible views of Lake Titicaca and the warmth of its people, plus a delicious lunch with fresh produce from the region. Exploor Trip took care of every detail so we could enjoy this trip to the fullest. A tour full of culture, incredible landscapes and memories that will remain forever! 🌅✨

Unique Family Experience - A spectacular trip with Exploor Trip to Uros and Taquile! From the beginning, the organization was impeccable. Our guide was not only friendly, but also shared a lot of interesting facts about the culture and history of the islands, which made the experience even more enriching. The visit to the Uros was like entering another world: learning how they build their floating islands and living with the local inhabitants was fascinating. Then, in Taquile, the beauty of the landscape, with its agricultural terraces and views of Lake Titicaca, left us completely amazed. In addition, the typical lunch in Taquile was delicious, a true sample of local cuisine. The pace of the tour was relaxed, allowing us to enjoy every moment without feeling rushed. Exploor Trip did an amazing job taking care of every detail. An experience I recommend 100%! 😊

Super recommended - If you book with Explorer Trip, you can rest assured that they take care of everything. From the beginning, communication is clear and professional, and before leaving they give you a detailed briefing that prepares you for the adventure. The two-day tour to the Uros and Amantani was simply perfect, with an exceptional team that included our guide, Marco, who transmitted his knowledge and passion for the region, and the host families, who received us with warmth. Every detail made this experience unforgettable, 100% recommended!

Lugares hermosos - A highly recommended and well-organized activity. On the Uros Islands they show you how these islands are made and they tell you about this way of life. In Taquile we had a delicious lunch, we walked around the island and we were able to see their typical dance. In both places there are many craft stalls since tourism is their main activity for these communities.

Good day trip, hidden costs - Hi! We had an amazing day with great guides and the lunch was amazing. However, we were disappointed that it wasn’t noted prior to going on the boat that we would need 15 soles for the traditional boat ride. We felt pressured to pay this with being told it’s their only source of income for the month and when I asked if we had to go on we were told umm no but you will have to sit here by yourself and then the boat will be delayed as we will need to come pick you up which made us feel extremely pressured. Considering we already paid a lot of money for the day it was disappointing.

The beautiful - If you book with Explorer Trip there is nothing you need to worry about. Professional and direct communication, perfect pre-departure briefing and the best crew we could wish for for Ausangate Trek! From the guide Rubén to the rider and the chef, everyone does an extraordinary job to make the Trek a unique experience. The food prepared in a simple trekking kitchen was the biggest surprise for us - you get delicious meals with well-selected fresh ingredients at each campsite.

Disappointing tourist trap! - Having done the 4-day Inca Trail and heard so much about the importance of Lake Titicaca in Inca mythology, it was a great disappointment to be shown typical tourist-trap material (eg local women in costume singing “You are my sunshine…”, stalls selling similar goods to anywhere else, “traditional” reed (?) boats that tourists were strong-armed into taking for an extra charge, …) The community of Puno and Lake Titicaca are really missing an opportunity by ignoring what is known about the importance of the area, and it is insulting as a tourist truly interested in the region to be treated in such a way.
