Upon arrival, the island chief will demonstrate the construction of the islands using totora and share a few words in Aymara. The locals are renowned for their handicrafts, which will be available for purchase. There will also be an option to sail on a totora boat (15 Soles) to the main island of Uros and get a passport stamp as a keepsake. The top deck of the boat offers a great vantage point for photos of the floating islands.
