- Volnay - Take a break for a relaxing traditional lunch in a local restaurant (not included in the tour price)
- Aloxe-Corton - Visit the Grand Cru vineyards of the Hill of Corton to explore the changes in terroir and landscape to the north of Beaune

Outstanding tour - My husband and I took this tour in mid-December and I cannot recommend it more highly. Stephen sent us a questionnaire prior to our trip and was able to create a wonderful itinerary for us that accurately reflected our interests. He shared so much knowledge with us about both the region and the wines; he clearly loves the area and its people. We were warmly welcomed at several wineries and got a glimpse of the passion for wine-making that makes this region so special. Five stars!

5 star private wine tour Burgundy - We had the most incredible private wine tour in Burgundy, France, visiting three stunning wineries, and I can’t recommend it enough! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, educational, and deeply enjoyable.
Our guide, Dylan, was absolutely outstanding. His deep knowledge of Burgundy’s history, wine-making traditions, and the nuances of the region’s terroir brought the tour to life. Dylan’s passion for wine was infectious, and he tailored the experience perfectly to our group, answering all our questions with patience and insight.
Each winery we visited offered something unique, from picturesque vineyards to intimate tastings of exceptional wines. The winemakers were welcoming and eager to share their craft, and Dylan’s close connections in the region made us feel like insiders rather than just tourists.
The pacing of the day was perfect, with enough time at each location to savor the wines and soak in the atmosphere without ever feeling rushed. Transportation was comfortable and smooth, allowing us to sit back and enjoy the scenic beauty of Burgundy between stops.

Honestly, the best guide and trip ever! - We have traveled extensively and have used a variety of guides throughout the years, but Stephen was hands down the best guide we have ever had! He was a welcome sight at CDG and we knew immediately that we were in good hands. He adapted everything we did based on our trust of each other that was established with hearty conversation and feedback. Plus, we had one of the best meals in our lives based on Stephen’s recommendation and arrangement. We can’t say enough about how instrumental he was in making this trip the best ever!

The best way to discover Burgundy! - What a fantastic 2 days of wine touring and tasting we had with Burgundy Discovery and our guide Elsa. Bravo to her for having a great rapport with the winery staff and winemakers to deliver professionally curated tastings tailored to our interests and tastes.
We had a wonderful time, learned a lot, and appreciated all the info and advice as we navigated Burgundy for the first time. We feel like "experts" now and will certainly be back to this awesome wine region and touring with the great people at Burgundy Discovery!

The Burgundy tasting tour of my dreams - Wow, where do I even begin?! Our private wine tasting with Burgundy Discovery was the most magical, fun, seamless, memorable and truly incredible experience. Not only was Stephen and his team attentive to my desires on where / what I wished to taste while in Burgundy, but they went out of their way to create the tasting tour of my dreams. My group, consisting of myself, my husband and another couple, truly enjoyed every second of our day - from the time in the car driving through the region and charming villages, to each tasting at the magnificent properties the team selected for us, and the beautiful lunch the team reserved for us in advance. Dylan was our driver and tour guide, and he truly made this experience better than we could have ever imagined. He was knowledgable, added complimentary stops to our tour and had fun right along with us. I couldn't recommend Dylan and the rest of the Burgundy Discovery team more! If you are planning a trip to Burgundy, you MUST make a tasting tour reservation with this incredible team!

Wonderful wine tour in Burgundy - My friends and I did a two day tour with Stephen and I couldn't recommend it more. All of the transportation, wine tastings, and tours were arranged for us and Stephen also arranged for lunch and dinner reservations along the way. We loved the wineries that Stephen chose to take us to - the people were friendly and informative and the wine was excellent. This was a wonderful way to experience Burgundy in a short amount of time!

Unique and Spectacular Experience! - Stephen led such an amazing tour for our group. The wineries we visited felt special and like unique experiences we wouldn't have been able to do on our own. He's extremely friendly and well-informed on the wine and the area. I would definitely do a tour with him again!

No empty glasses here! - Our guide was Robert Pygott of Burgundy Discovery, a veteran sommelier and Burgundy expert whose knowledge, expertise, and engaging personality made this tour a fantastic experience. It exceeded all of my lofty expectations. We sampled 18 wines directly at 3 different vigneron, including premier and grand cru! Lunch in Beaune was fabulous, and Robert drove us through numerous famous villages and vineyards, explaining and pointing out interesting aspects along the way. The AC LandRover was comfortable, and water and excellent maps, info and tasting sheets were provided. Altogether I can’t praise and recommend this tour highly enough, well worth the price especially if you’re interested in wine and Burgundy. This tour leaves no stone unturned, and wine glass empty!

Great private tour - We had a great day on a private tour with Stephane. The private tour experience was exceptional, easily one of our favorite days in a 10 day trip to France. Having the guide all to ourselves was very helpful. We had great food at lunch, and it was very interesting to learn about the history of Burgundian wine. Stephane’s life experiences give him some added perspective that my wife and I both found very valuable. We were completely lost the first time we walked into a wine store in Beaune, but after our trip we felt like pros, debating the merits of Grand Crus vs Premiere Crus vs Village wines from the various regions. We highly recommend.
