- Pula KAYAK TOURS & ADVENTURES | Pula Outdoor - We’ll meet @ Valovine beach in Pula and first do some basics of kayaking. Even if you already have some experience in kayaking, we’d like to share some tips and tricks on how to enjoy paddling and save energy. \n\nOur adventure starts from the beach and continues towards Pula’s big cliffs and ex-military zone, where we have the opportunity to experience lots of things. Sea kayaking on the open sea (when it’s wavy we can try to surf ski as well :)), kayaking under the cliffs, exploring cracks and small caves along the coastline, jumping from the rocks off into the sea, snorkelling in the crystal clear waters and taking underwater photos.\n\nDuring the adventure, we make a break on the beach, we stop and pull kayaks out of the water. During those 30-45 minutes, you have the chance to grab the snorkelling equipment and dive under the sea surface, you can climb on the rocks and jump in the water or explore the “wild side of Pula” and refresh eating fruits.\n\nOn the last part of the activity, we kayak into the 30m long cave illuminated with head lights, get to know a bit about the cave and admire the beautiful water colours on the cave entrance created by the sunlight.

Highly recommended experience :) - We really enjoyed the kayaking tour with Jennifer. She was very friendly and kind :) We visited some cool places. We really liked that there were just a small group of people at the same time. Highly recommended experience :)

Wonderful afternoon and experience! - Had a lovely afternoon! Kayaking along the coast and in 2 caves sailed and pictures taken. Also jumping off rocks and snorkeling among the fish. Our supervisor Noel was relaxed and explained and showed everything well!

Lovely day in a beautiful place - This was a great tour, kayaks were solid, the route was beautiful, and the guide was fantastic at giving us information and sharing history and nature facts while we explored. Some tours solo feel lonely, but the group was friendly and welcoming. Definitely do the tour with this company!

Small group, great views - My husband and I really enjoyed our kayaking trip with Majda. It was a nice small group (just one other family and us) so we got lots of personalized instruction and wonderful photos taken during the trip! We enjoyed kayaking in to the sea cave, swimming/snorkeling, a cliff jumping opportunity, and learning more about the area. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful swimming and jumping-place - Lovely swimming and sunbathing area. We came several times. The last time the fish had spawned, the water was full of mucus. We only got this mucus out of our hair with soap.

Family kayak trip - We really enjoyed kayaking as a family and this experience provided a nice opportunity to see more of the coast. Jennifer as our guide ensured we were well-briefed and we felt safe throughout. She also added some nice touches such as photos and fresh watermelon at our snorkelling stop. The reason I haven’t given 5 stars is because I found the cave part too stressful to be enjoyable. The fact that all similar kayak tours go to this spot, combined with people constantly jumping into the sea from the cliffs in the area that kayaks enter and leave the cave, along with swimmers and snorkelling going on around us inside the cave meant I was concentrating on not hitting anyone with my oars. Like I said, Jennifer did make us feel safe, but I’d happily have dropped this and spent longer seeing the coast out on the open water. Overall I’m happy we did this experience and the fact Pula Outdoor provided good email communications beforehand and offered a small group tour swung it for me to book with them.

Must do kayaking trip! - Our guide, Jennifer, helped infuse relaxation to our kayaking route. She has a positive energy and ensured we were comfortable navigating with our equipment. Bonus that we were the only ones who signed up for that time and received a private tour. The trip itself was a beautiful way to experience Pula via water. Visiting the cave and snorkeling were highlights not to missed on any trip to Pula. Jennifer even took photos of the journey. However, we have yet to receive via email (as it’s now been over a week since our tour). The only other negative was reaching the starting point. The description fails to note the name of the company, which would have helped us find Pula Outdoors along the water more easily because the drop pin took us to a cabin further inland behind the actual meeting point. Fortunately we asked at the only area with visible kayaks after searching. Highly recommend this tour if you appreciate nature and open to an eco-friendly way to experience Pula. Also, highly recommend Jennifer as a guide. We aee so glad we went!

A really difficult tour to enjoy - We were incredibly excited for this tour and to see the natural beauty of Pula. However, the difficulty began very early on as we were a mixed language group with a large German speaking family/friends and only two English speakers (us). Jennifer, our guide, was nice, but quickly lost control of the balance of the experience. The explanations in German seemed to be much more in depth whereas the English translation was 1-2 sentences. The day was also quite windy and was a complicated paddle to keep everyone together. When stressed, Jennifer often forgot to issue instructions in English and only provided information in German. We occasionally had to ask the other group members for a translation or had to remind her that we didn’t understand. The cave experience was horrible as it was so crowded that it felt incredibly dangerous to bring kayaks into the space and people were cliff jumping right at the entrance. It was a pretty scary entry and exit. The only bright spot was the 20 minutes of independent time to snorkel in a little bay. We saw some beautiful anemones, jelly fish, fish, shrimp, crabs, and sea urchins.
