Stunning nature tour - My family loved this tour for our weekend in Puerto Varas! Ricardo and our driver are very experienced and knowledgeable on the Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales. Petrohue Falls, Todos los Santos lake and Osorno Volcano were spectacular! We were grateful for a fairly clear day with minimal rain. There were clouds over Osorno, but some sunshine too. The next day we were excited for spectacular views of Osorno from Puerto Varas and Frutillar (where we visited on our own). Ricardo speaks very good English. Bring 6,000 CLP/person for boat ride; buffet lunch is also extra, very good meal that you can pay for with credit card. Lovely day! Very responsive too, I accidentally left my hat and mittens in the van and the driver came back to return them to me which was very kind!

Orsorno Volcano Trip - Despite very rainy weather, Ricardo made the day special and memorable. He was very knowledgeable about everything.

Visit to Osorno - Our guide Ricardo, a charming person, with a very clean car and plenty of space. There were 4 of us in the group. Ricardo was attentive to everyone so that we had the best experience. Other people in the small group were not in their best physical condition and he was by their side the entire time so they could enjoy it. That suggests the philosophy of this company. Totally recommended. We, who are used to hiking in the high mountains, loved it, even the circuit fell short, but they have to do it. The truth is that we were lucky to not have fog and see the summit of Osorno in all its splendor.

Adventure get better and better - At every turn a new and different experience. Walking on the volcanoe the tranquility of a lagoon the excitement of water falls and a boat exploration. A day with Riccardo I will never forget.

Volcano tour - Hiking the red crater was great. We were given direction and could go on our own at our own pace. Ricardo shared a lot of history with us that added to the experience & his English was very good.

Great views of Oscorno- excellent guide - Ricardo was an outstanding guide who managed the different needs and abilities of our small (5) group very well. He was informative and well organised, and astutely reorganised the schedule when low cloud in the morning prevented views of Oscorno. This was left till later in the day when the cloud had lifted. I can highly recommend this tour with Patagonia Austral.

Fabulous - A beautiful day all around. Part of that was great weather. And of course the scenery.The things controlled by Patagonia Austral were great too. The guide was friendly, informative, and spoke clear English. He also read the group well and accommodated our interests and pace (accommodating the slower participants without frustrating the more active). It’s also worth mentioning that the van was comfortable and in excellent condition.
People who want to see the Red Crater on Osorno Volcano should be aware that the walk from the top of the chairlift is a bit demanding for those that are in only so-so physical condition. It is not far, but a bit of a climb on loose soil.
I strongly recommend sunscreen.
