Best whale watching tour ever! - This was the best whale watching tour my husband and I have ever been on. We went in 2024 and decided to go back again in 2025.
The tour operator, Thalia, and the captain, Angel, are a great team. They somehow know where the whales are and took us right to them.
We learned a lot about the humpback whales’ behaviors, migration, mating, male competition, singing and calf raising.
We witnessed a pod of 5 and 2 males competition, a mother protecting her baby by steering it toward our boat and one time a whale came right over to us and under and up in front of us so close. Its own choice. So exciting!
If that weren’t enough we were treated to homemade sandwiches, great fruit beverages and cookies.
We will be booking again!

Wonderful trip I will never forget! - Great day to view the whales breaching and playing. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and a biologist, we even had a chance to hear the whales song.

Perfect whale watching experience - This whale watching trip was SO GOOD. The whales were active and we spotted a mom and baby almost right away. It was incredibly valuable to have an expert right there to help us understand what we were seeing. Including three males competing for access to a female - no way I’d have known that’s what was going on!
Anyway, the trip itself was everything you’d hope for. The boat was just the right size, the group was small enough you could ask questions.
By the end, the lunch felt like an extra gift on top of an already great experience.
And there was no need to try to capture photos as they sent them to us afterward.

The Best Whale Watching Tour in Vallarta! - Talia and Angel have been doing this for a long time and they know how to make for a memorable outing. You will learn so much in a few hours while being very respectful of the magnificent animals you will be so fortunate to see. We always have a spectacular time on this tour. Highly recommend.

Great experience! - Very knowledgeable and great sense of humor marine biologist! Saw so many whales and was breathtaking! Nice size boat for 12 people and excellent captain. Sandwich, chips and drink were great. There is a bathroom on the boat. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Boat excursion with the Whales - We had a Great 1/2 day whale watching excursion with Angel and Talia.
There were 4 of us on there 30’
Dual motor boat with a bathroom and shade.
Angel was a great Captain and Talia’s biology background was beyond impressive. They were very respectful of the environment and sea life.
We were so close to the a baby, male & female dancing and breaching.
We saw sea turtles and a pigmy dolphin.
There was a tower on the boat that we could climb up to for great panoramic view. They had great sandwiches and drinks.
Such a great experience!
We have been on other whale excursions before and this one definitely surpassed our expectations.
We will definitely use them again when we return next year.
