small boat, amazing experience, we'll be back - By happenstance, my wife and I had a private 3-hour tour with our guide. The boats never take more than 8 people at a time but we got lucky. We probably saw over 30 whales throughout the afternoon with some of the pods just coming up for air and others playing on the surface. There were babies slapping their pectoral fins on the surface and more mature whales breaching and doing acrobatics for us. We probably never went more than about 15 minutes looking for the next group of whales. Our guide was very experienced at getting close by cutting the motor and drifting in. It was quite an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend them.

It’s ok. But won’t do this again. - The person checking us in was late. She didn’t tell me I needed to purchase a port ticket before boarding. You need that crucial info on your site. The boat person didn’t speak English which I don’t mind. But I didn’t like the fact that he’s drinking modelo while operating the boat. He was very good in finding the whales and we did have a good time overall. But I don’t think I will do this tour ever again. Shouldn’t call it a tour. More like a ride and that was it. No guide to tell us anything about whales.

bad experience all around - Wasn’t able to sit with my wife, got sprayed constantly by salt water, no whales, we wandered forever and the tour was an hour late returning. Tour did y mention the port fee we had to pay separately. Boat was tiny…sun was brutal with limited shade. You’d have to pay me at lot to do this again.
