Amazing experience, would definitely recommend. - I would definitely recommend this tour and would book with them again. I liked that we were on a smaller boat, and we were able to get close enough to get amazing views of the whales. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

GREAT WHALE WATCHING WITH LOS VERANOS TOURS - We went on a whale watching tour (3 hours) with LOS VERANOS TOURS, it was a great experience. The guide (Benji) knew his stuff...so informative. We came back from that tour with knowledge that we did not have before, and saw a total of 7 whales during our tours.... we were very satisfied with our experience.

Such an experience with so many whales - We have done several whale watches in Alaska but wanted to experience the experience in a warmer climate with different behaviors. It was an amazing experience. We saw a mother and baby, many whales close up. The males trying to “impress” the femaies created a unique dynamic.
The guide was excellent and explained what we seeing and why.
We came in on a cruise ship but booked direct with them. Communication was excellent and we knew exactly what to expect. The meeting and departure point was right at the cruise terminal which worked great for us.

The Best Whale Watching Tour - We had the most amazing time on our tour. I can't recommend this enough. Benji was our tour guide and I can imagine a better tour guide. He was happy, funny, insightful, and friendly. Our boat captain did a great job putting us on the whales even paying attention to the sun so that photos would not be looking into the sun. If anyone is looking at other whale watching options, stop, this is the one. The boat is perfect size to be maneuverable enough to get close to the whales, the guide is THE BEST, and all the small details are taken care of. Truly a great experience and a must do for anyone in the area during whale season.

Awesome Whale Watching Experience in Puerto Vallarta - We took the afternoon tour on Feb 18, 2026. We saw a good number of whales under the guidance of Benjamin and Captain Miguel. Benjamin has outstanding knowledge of whales and he explains their patterns and behaviours in perfect English. The tour boat was ideal for the purpose. It was a comfortable ride with lots of power to cover more water and find more whales. Very well run tour. Highly recommend.

Most amazing whale show on earth - It was amazing, the whale had quite of energy, jumped several times, came out a lot, and slapped the water with its tail many times. The baby tried to jump but just twisted in the water, it was funny. The information was a lot, the guy knew so much. He seemed to be an expert on whales. People need to do this once in their life time, I have done it several times and im still in awe.

Great experience - Wow what an amazing experience. I was a little nervous to go whale watching for the first time, but seeing these amazing animals in the water was such a beautiful eye opening moment! You truly get lost in watching them in the water. Benjamin, our host, was very knowledgeable throughout the tour in everything we needed to know about whales! The 3 hours went by very quickly, and we saw the whales for almost the entire time. We were provided sandwiches and snacks during the tour. For anyone thinking about whale watching for the first time and nervous about their size, please try it out! You’ll be happy you did.

Not to be missed - Whale Watch Guarantee lived up to its name - and more so! A fabulous experience from the start.
We booked thru Trip Advisor. The info provided online on where to go to sign in - at the Los Veranos Canapy Tour office - was clear and accurate. Allen, who registered us, was pleasant and efficient. He walked us a short two blocks to the port and delivered us to the tour boat - a large Zodiac-style boat with about 20 seats. This is not a large party boat experience. You climb over the gunwale with their assistannce to get on and off. Once on, you stay in your place. But even less limber folks were able to navigate the boat.
When the boat goes fast, you will get wet. The boat was nimble and expertly navigated to get really close to the whales, dolfins and even a sea turtle. Our tour guude/naturalist, Benji, spoke perfect English and Spanish, translating his sentences from one language to the other seamlessly giving us great, accurate information in a fun and lightheaded manner.
The whale sightings were amazing! Mothers, calves and males. We were meters away from calves breeching the water, adults slapping, flukes rising out of the water and all manners of activities. The captain raced from sighting to sighting to ensure we saw everything we could. It was clear the team wanted us to have a great experience.
It was a great day.
