Surfing skills progression and great waves - Emilian was a great instructor focused on improving skills and teaching knowledge of the ocean to progress quickly from beginner to intermediate technique and learn how to become an independent surfer.
Lesson are more thorough than simply how to stand on a board. Focusing on proper technique and wave selection.
Massively improved and caught the best wave of my life. Couldn't ask for more.

Best Surfing Lesson - Emilian is great at teaching. He’s very patient and very knowledgeable about surfing. 100% recommended. Definitely one of the best surfing lesson I took so far.

Amazing guide, instructor and person. Highly recommend!!!! - We had an amazing time with Emilian with a group of begginer and old school surfer. Great instructions, patient, and very accommodating. It was my sons first time surfing and he was doing 360s by the end of the day!!!! I was to tired to paddle out after the first ride and he water taxied me out 10 more times. Hahahaha!!!

Excellent instructor for beginners and advanced surfers - Emilian was easy to contact and he was very proactive to question my surf level in order to bring me to the best spot possible. As an intermediate, I’m always a bit reluctant to book lesson since a lot of instructors can help me much. Emilian had very appropriate advices and help me upgrade to a next level so we had a blast! I’ll definitely book another lesson if I’m back in the region.

Must do! - Emilian was awesome! I’ve surfed a couple times in my life and was fairly comfortable just popping up! But he went into way more depth than any instructor I’ve had in the past! He didn’t just teach me how to get up but he taught me about water dynamics. How to read the waves and how to adjust before, during, and after the pop up! By the end I was hitting a 360! He gave me the confidence to make surfing a hobby not just something I do every couple of years! Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor!!

Awesome time!! - Excellent surf lesson with Emilian. Good communication through WhatsApp. He picked us up and then drove us 45 minutes to Nuevo Vallarta to the surf shop. We were able to leave our belongings there before walking a short distance to the beach. Emilian taught us the basics of surfing and also did an excellent job explaining what kinds of waves to look for and to look for the pocket of the wave to get the most power. I’ve had several surf lessons before and I can say that he has taught me the most about surfing. Afterwards we all enjoyed lunch (not included) at a restaurant nearby.

Overall very satisfied - Had an amazing time learning to surf with Emilian at Vallarta Surf Lessons! Emilian is super friendly and an excellent instructor. He made sure I felt comfortable and confident on the board, even as a beginner. The location is beautiful, and Emilian knows all the best spots. Highly recommend if you want to learn to surf in Vallarta!

Fun surf lesson had me riding waves right away! - The surf instructor, Emilian, picked me up from my hotel and we had a great conversation focused on wave selection and surf theory while we drove about an hour from the Zona Romántica in PV. Once we got to the beach I was give a rash guard and hat to wear and we walked to the beach. We got set up and I was shown the multiple ways to get up on the board and the proper stance. We got into the water and I was shown the best way to get up on the board and how to sit on the board and maneuver. The instructor helped select the waves and helped shove me to get speed so I could stand up and surf the waves! I was about to pick it up rather quickly thanks to the great feedback!
I highly recommend taking this surf lesson if you want to learn how to surf!
