Walk in Forest and Beach - We had an incredible time on the Selvas y Playas Exóticas hiking tour with Moisés from Luna Tours & Hiking! From start to finish, Moisés was an outstanding guide—his deep knowledge of Puerto Vallarta’s history and the surrounding region truly enriched our experience. He also shared fascinating insights about the diverse flora and fauna along the way, making the hike both educational and immersive. The trail itself offered a perfect balance of easy to moderate sections, and Moisés was always attentive to our comfort and safety, ensuring we were well-prepared for any challenges along the path. The lush jungle scenery was breathtaking, providing endless opportunities for stunning photos and unforgettable moments. To top it all off, we ended the hike with a delicious meal at Abelardo’s on Las Ánimas Beach, followed by a scenic boat ride back to Boca de Tomatlán—a perfect way to wrap up an amazing adventure. If you're looking for a well-guided, nature-filled experience in Puerto Vallarta, this tour with Moisés is an absolute must. Highly recommended!

Fun hike and cool beaches! - Moises was a great guide. From the Romantic Zone in the city, we took a city bus along the coast to Boca. From there we walked and hiked while Moises did many stops along the way to give us information. It wasn't too humid this time of year and with the breeze from the ocean helping cool the air. Ups and downs on the trail that weren't too strenuous or dangerous, but by the end of the hike, my energy was low. The first beach we stopped at, It felt great to jump in the cool water after being warm from the hike. Ate at a restaurant at the last beach, then took a boat back to Boca, declining the snorkeling opportunity as the water was choppy, and this being late afternoon, fish visibility would be decreased. But, we all were ready to head back, anyways. Good adventure and definitely recommend.

The Best PV Tour and Guide! - Alejandro is the best Guide you could imagine! He really knows every detail of the flora, fauna and history behind the area. This makes the tour very interesting and bearable. He is very patient and attentive! We have done other tours and none take the time to take photos and videos... with Alejandro it is the opposite! He made stops right at Top-rated spots and was our Ace cameraman. I recommend you to bring some extra socks, plenty of drinking water, repellent and cash for the stop of fresh water on the first beaches. The shoes ideally with good grip as there are some slippery parts but in general it is quite bearable the tour! The day of the hike was just my friend and I (and even 31 degrees in the jungle), it was the highlight of our 1 week trip!! 100000% recommended! views and experience are worth every second!

Great adventure - Alejandro was such a great guide. He took us hiking from Tomatlan to Colomitos, he explained local flora and fauna and then took us to another beach as Las Animas was pretty packed and we had an amazing time.

Great hiking/snorkeling - Alejandro was a great guide! Super knowledgeable about local flora, and had a good eye for iguanas we saw on the trail. Hiking & snorkeling were both a blast. Nothing felt rushed, and guacamole mid-hike was fabulous!

Excellent tour! - An amazing full day tour!! We would highly recommend it if you are moderately fit and can manage going up and down steep and rocky hillsides. We saw more fish snorkelling than expected which was a pleasant surprise. We had an excellent guide, Alejandro, who was very safety conscious, attentive, informative, also personable and casual. He made the best guacamole/chips for our mid-tour snack! The beaches were fantastic and Alejandro’s knowledge of the fruit trees, flowers, birds, fish and wildlife was great. Well worth your time!

We weren't expecting the... - We weren't expecting the hike to be as rugged as it was. We are experienced hikers in good shape and can handle steep climbs. However there is a lot of scrambling over large boulders so be prepared. However, it was very beautiful, and our guide explained a lot about the history, culture and natural environment. Finished with a delicious lunch on the beach. Great day out.
