Great Way to Explore Other Areas - This was a perfect opportunity to see other areas within this region of Mexico. And Sayulito is a complete departure from the city of Puerto Vallarta and what a great little surf town. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and provided lots of useful information about the general region.

TERRIFIC TEQUILA!! - I forgot part of our tour with Poncho & Jorge! We had a wonderful tequila tasting! FABULOUS TEQUILA! Don't look for it anywhere else but here! And a wonderful lunch in the restaurant there! And the tequila master was from Calgary!😂😂 So so good and of course we had to buy a bottle (or two!) so so good!

Fun day with a great group! - The tour guide, Omar, and driver Tony were great hosts. Omar is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Mexico and kept it fun on the ride back with games and prizes. It’s a cute town with some hipster vibes. Bring or wear your swimsuit if you want to get in the water or get a beach massage.

A nice day - Nice day! They picked us up at our hotel in a nice van. The only bummer was the air-conditioning was not working great we kept asking them to turn it up and they said that it was up. That was the only slight downside. It was not intolerable or miserable. It just could’ve been cooler. Our guide was amazing, I can’t remember his name but he was great. We went to San Pancho and we only had about 45 minutes there. I wish we had longer there and then we went to Sayulita for approximately three hours and that was amazing. The timing for that I feel was just right. It gave you plenty of time to walk around, shop, explore the city, stop for drinks, and eat lunch. They then dropped us back off at our hotel. It was a lot of fun and a wonderful day. I only wish that we had a little bit longer time in San Pancho, but I would not want to take away from the time in Sayulita. Maybe just extend the excursion by half an hour or so.

A Glimpse Of Mexico Charm! - The two areas visited- San Poncho and Salyulita- each offer their own charm. The fruit stand stop had THE best pineapple I have had in a long time. The views of the beach were beautiful. The people were nice and not too pushy in the artisan shop areas with plenty of time to explore. Eric did a great job giving information aboit the area and history. Very funny and anticipated all our needs!

Bad investment - The tour we were sold from "All Day" was actually 6 hours, which was reduced to 2.5 hours effective, 30 minutes in San Pancho and 2 hr in Sayulita. The rest of the time was going from hotel to hotel picking up and dropping off other tourists in their accommodation. The Road we were transported on was super small, there were very tall American tourists who could not even fit their legs when sitting. The driver handled very badly, not being careful in the bumps and bumps of the road, those of us who sat in the back looked like we were riding a roller coaster, giving us sit-downs. What's more, we were stopped by the police and lost 45 minutes hoping that the problem would be solved (they didn't carry the insurance papers they have to hire for the tourists they transport). Better to rent a car and go on your own. Beautiful Sayulita, San Pancho with beautiful beach!

Easy, stress-free travel - The first half of the tour felt like a glorified shuttle but a really easy way to get around with no stress. It probably didn't help that I was the only non-Spanish speaker on the bus and it was difficult to hear the driver speak from half way down the bus. The 2nd half of the day was fun, the tequila tasting was fun and interesting. I'd also say that I preferred San Pancho to Sayulita but that's just my personal preference. It was a nice day and super easy, would have been nice to learn a bit more about the area.

Mediocre half day trip, avoid. - The tour fell short on expectations. 1. Surf or water sport lessons were listed as being part of the tour, there was nothing of that offered in reality. 2. While the guide and driver were good and courteous, the change of the vehicle and slightly cramped seating did not go well. 3. There was just some brief explanation of the history, and we were left to ourselves to discover the places. An unnecessary stop at a jewelry store where no one bought anything. 4. No lunch or drink/food of any kind offered, felt like we just went around in the bus and did our own thing. I would give this tour a skip and suggest tours with Vallarta Adventures, much better value for money.

Disappointing - Though the town itself was cute this was no tour- just transportation. No water was offered and when asked the driver said he didn’t have any. No boogie board was offered either. The driver hardly spoke to us and gave us no information about history or culture. I thought he would offer more info. Others on our tour group seemed disappointed as well. It would have been more cost effective to just get a taxi there and back. Also we were only 25 minutes in second town. Not worth the price for sure.
