Beautiful birthday sailing experience! - Booked this sailing excursion to round out my mom's birthday festivities and we both had a lovely time. The crew was amazing. Helpful, friendly, and made our sailing experience memorable. They were so kind to bring out desserts and sang "Happy birthday" to my mom. We lucked out with good weather and smooth sailing. Highly recommend this for those looking for an ocean view of Puerto Vallarta.

Amazing, delightful, perfect and so so so BEAUTIFUL!!! - This was probably the highlight of our entire trip to PV! The boat itself was amazing and so clean and comfy. The crew was delightful and amazing. Food was delicious and the drinks were even better! They all went above and beyond and I will never forget them! This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had - and no I have not been paid to write this. I loved this experience and I would book them again hands down. If you’re considering a low stress, easy and relaxing excursion, look no further BOOK THIS ONE!!!

Loved the sunset cruise! - My friends and I had a fantastic experience on the sunset cruise in Puerto Vallarta with Vallarta adventures. The crew was fun, professional, played great music, and made great food and drinks for us. The cruise was 4 hours in total and we sailed around the bay and caught the sunset on the way in. We were lucky to get great weather and some good wind for sailing. Reuben, Walter and Magdaleno were our crew and we loved them! Highly recommend

First Class Experience - Professional crew members led by Rueben made the cruise very enjoyable. Sailing along the coast gave us great views of town before the sunset. Drinks and snacks were just right. Good times were has by all on board.

Not the best experience - First, the sunset sailing itself was great with the views. That was probably the only good thing. However, the crew service was lacking and the atmosphere was very dull. The music was soft and quiet and the drinks were watered down. The most disturbing part was the crews failure to watch out for the safety of their passengers. They lower a sail mast and it swung directly into me and my family striking us with the sail, ropes, and buckle. The crew gave us no heads up or warning. When they come to control the sail they didn’t even check to see if were okay. Although it was just a rope, we did have marks on our arms and legs. No apologies from the crew either. Quite frankly they didn’t seem to care. Sad to say, but We’ll probably never book this tour with them again.

Vallarta Adventures: Safety Last, Customer Service Non-Existent - Our recent experience with Vallarta Adventures was an absolute nightmare, showcasing a complete disregard for customer safety and an appalling lack of basic decency. We had booked a "sunset cruise" for six people, an outing that cost us a hefty $600 USD. However, what we encountered was a scene that should have immediately triggered a cancellation: a relentless downpour with thunder and lightning absolutely decimating the port. It was undeniably unsafe to sail, yet Vallarta Adventures insisted on proceeding and flat-out refused our refund request.
Their initial stance was infuriating. To suggest that a cruise in such treacherous conditions was remotely acceptable, let alone enjoyable, is not just misleading – it's a dangerous fabrication. They clearly prioritized their profits over the well-being of their paying customers, putting us in a position where we were expected to board a vessel amidst what amounted to a natural disaster.
The only reason we managed to retrieve our $600 was due to the direct intervention of the Hard Rock Resort. It took their significant involvement to convince Vallarta Adventures to do the right thing. This highlights a critical flaw: a company that only rectifies its egregious policies when a major partner steps in is fundamentally broken. Without the Hard Rock's help, we would have been out $600 and potentially in harm's way.
This was not an "adventure"; it was a deeply frustrating and frankly, alarming encounter. Save your money and, more importantly, prioritize your safety. Do NOT book with Vallarta Adventures. Their policies are predatory, their commitment to customer well-being is non-existent, and it's clear they won't do the right thing unless forced.
