Great Sea Food Lovers Tour - Great tour with a very well-prepared guide. She took us to places we would never have found on our own that had great sea food to offer.

Afternoon seafood delight. - We had a great time with our guide Silvia. Her local knowledge of the food, area, and history really makes for a great time. All of the food and restaurants were amazing. Many of the best places we went are small out of the way restaurants that I would have never thought of trying without on our own. I would highly recommend all of their tours especially with Silvia.

Excellent food, guide and company - This was our second food tour with Vallarta Food Tours in 2 weeks and the seafood tour was just as good as the other and different enough that it didn’t feel repetitive. Sylvia displays an infectious enthusiasm and a wealth of knowledge, a perfect combination in a guide. We especially wanted to learn where to buy fresh fish since we’re cooking quite a bit for ourselves while we’re here and she brought us to an excellent fish market. There’s a tortilleria right across the street from the fish market making fresh tortillas starting with the corn, not just masa. They were extraordinary! All of the restaurants and stands that we visited were terrific and the food was fresh and delicious. We were in a group of 10 people and greatly enjoyed the conviviality and opportunity to meet such lovely fellow travelers. Very highly recommended!

Exceptional. Don’t miss it! - Exceptional seafood. Each restaurant offered something different. The variety was amazing, from ahi, octopus and shrimp. We finished with ice cream. Our tour guide, Bernardo, was so knowledgeable. He provided a lot of local history. Wonderful day, wonderful food, and opportunity to meet many local restaurateurs. Highly recommended!

Walking Seafood Taco Tour - Edgar was a great guide for our Seafood Tour. He pointed out and explained about many of the fruit trees on our walking tour. He told us about a bit of the history of the plaza. His English was great and he asked each of us about our favourite Mexican Seafood Dish. He used this information to pick out the 5 seafood tacos we tasted at the family owned businesses we got to experience. It was a lovely tour, but we were surprised that it was mostly a seafood taco tour. The food we tasted was terrific, nothing disappointed. The rating is based on price for the tour being it was in USD.

It's a taco tour really - We took the seafood tour. The walking tour was around a couple of blocks in old Town the guide was personable and had good English. Very informative about history and local vegetation seen as we walked. I really expected to get more seafood though. This was more of a taco tour. Not a spread of seafood delights really. Also I suggest you have a decent breakfast before you arrive as the tour isn't going to fill you up. No beverages served with the tour but available for purchase at some stops. Wear a hat, there are bird droppings for no extra charge at the outdoor stops.

Disappointing tour - The advertisement for this experience did not match the actual tour. It was advertised as seafood tour with a beautiful picture of a grilled fish but mostly was various tacos with little seafood. The Blue Azul was great. One stop was flavored water. The tour guide was pleasant but more information regarding the various neighborhoods would have been nice.
