A MUST!! - Absolutely amazing experience!! I'm so glad my friends and I booked this tour on our 2nd day here because we were able to try out authentic food and save our favorite places. Our tour guide, Ale, is the sweetest and was very accommodating for dietary restrictions. 10/10 experience💯

Great food and fun experience - Excellent tour and amazing food. Great attention was paid to the details and varieties of the salsas. All were good. Our guide, Joanna was both kind and fun. Would highly recommend the tour.

FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE - We were on a cruise and didn't account for a 1-hr time change so we realized the morning of that we would be late for the 1st pick up spot. Took a chance and left a VM for the company directly and my call was returned in minutes. They were able to meet up with the group at the second stop where our guide had also been informed and was waiting to greet us. The tour was fantastic. We LOVE getting away from the ports and exploring where the locals go. And this tour provided just that. Excellent food and very informative about the area and culture.

Worthwhile experience - Very good excursion, we highly recommend it. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. I recommend doing this excursion when you first arrive to get a better idea of your surroundings.

Silvia made this experience special! - We had a GREAT time with Silvia showing us amazing tacos in several different neighborhoods! We had a bunch of kids so she made sure each place had a bathroom :). She explained all kinds of things about the history of the food and the Puerto Vallarta food scene. We all learned a lot and had a fun time! She was super fun, helped out with all our needs, and made sure we stayed hydrated! Couldn’t recommend her and this tour enough.

Great tour! - This is an amazing tour and Joana was a fabulous tour guide. She shared her love of her city and explained how the foods were cooked. It was a really nice time. We really appreciated her kindness with our lack of appetite that day!

Amazing food tour - This tour superseded our expectations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history in the city and the food places we went to. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting puerto Vallarta! The food was amazing!

Excellent family tour - We booked a private food tour for our family and had a wonderful experience! Our guide was Silvia and she was excellent, made the tour fun and enjoyable! We enjoyed all of the food stops and ate a lot of delicious things. There was great variety and tried many things we haven’t had before. We booked the private tour because we were traveling with a toddler and were pleased by how reasonably it was priced. Silvia was also a huge help engaging our daughter in the tour. So glad we booked it, one of the best parts of our trip!

An excellent taste of PV! - The Downtown Puerto Vallarta Food Tour with Joana was the highlight of our trip! Like others have said, you get to experience more authentic food that you might have never found on your own. From tacos to ice pops, everything was delicious and Joana was there to answer any of our questions. We ended up with a fun group of people, really social and interested, so that helped too. TIP: It was very hot the day we went, I would recommend bringing a fan if you are in the summer months.

Highly recommended introduction to local food culture - My family took the classic downtown taco tour on Sunday. This was the second time we’ve taken this tour. The first time was in February- we had a great time then and had high expectations for this time. Those expectations were surpassed. Our guide, Miel, was incredibly knowledgeable about the food we were eating and the cultural origins. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Additionally some of my family members have food allergies that were easily accommodated. A great experience and highly recommended introduction to PV and Mexican culture.
