Good Trip - Recommended - We had a good private tour - driver is a one man band and a nice guy - his business, so he goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy and have a good experience. Thanks from Eddie, Julianne and Annabel.

Fun Day in Puerto Vallarta! - Great overview of the zones (neighborhoods) of Puerto Vallarta. Option to customize, and Cesar was very accommodating. We chose to do a walking tour of the cobblestone hills of old Puerto Vallarta, crossing the river, struggling through parks and squares, visiting the Lady of Guadalupe church, and finally down to the boardwalk. There are amazing sculptures along that area. Cesar then drove us to self Puerto Vallarta through the resort area in we stopped at a local beach. It was a great day. Tip: if you’re on a ship, it may come in at a different pier from where the tour of operators meet guests. There is a free shuttle that drops off at pier 1 where the exit is located and most of the tour guides meet guests. Cesar did a great job and even sent us some photos of our day.

Great experience with a caring local guide - We had an outstanding introduction to Puerto Vallarta with a guide who paid attention to our interests and cared for all possible details. He wanted us to have a wonderful day and he succeeded. He surpassed our expectations in terms of service. We felt a friend was showing us his beloved town.

Daniel Martinez was great - We met Daniel in the terminal getting off the ship. He seemed very personable and honest. He was definitely priced right. There were four of us. He took us to a part of town where locals lived, and pointed out markets and restaurants. He took us to a cemetery with brightly painted murals, and explained “ Day of the Dead “ traditions. He took us to the Malecon and downtown area, where he let us walk around a little. He met us back at the cathedral. He took us to an off the beaten path hotel/ restaurant that was beautiful, and had a stunning view of the city. He took us to Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor’s houses connected by a bridge. He took us to a part of town with Gaudi style architecture and a park.He took us to a beach and recommended a great restaurant where we ate lunch. He would have stayed with us longer, but we were ready to get back to the ship. Puerto Vallarta was our favorite port primarily because of Daniel.

Top Notch Private Tour of PV - Top shelf from beginning to end! Cervando arrived right on time. Beautiful clean van complete with ice cold water, pop and even a couple of beers. First, Cervando told us what we were going to see, and then explained the history and significance of each area as we passed by. There were plenty of opportunities to stop for photos, a short walk, or a margarita at a beach front bar. He also knew as much about Canada as most Canadians. Very easy to talk to and very concerned for our comfort throughout the tour. The final stop was a tequila tasting and education on the history of tequila. Ramon at Los Tres Raicilla was an excellent host. This tour took us off the all inclusive property and allowed us to see another side of PV that looked alot more fun than staying at the All Inclusive! I would highly recommend Cervando for this or any tour he offers!

Personalized and perfect tour! - This tour made it so much easier for my mother to see the sights since she cannot walk for long distances. Cervando messaged me where he would meet us and he was there at exactly the time agreed. He talked with us about what we would like to see and do and immediately provided great suggestions. He just made it so easy for both of us and talking with him about his life here was interesting. He spoke in both Spanish and English with us so it was enjoyable conversation. The taco spots he took us to were both so good and exactly what I wanted. He also provided refreshments so it was nice not having to even stop anywhere to get something to drink. Private tours are the way to go to get a much better experience and I would highly recommend this if you really want to see and enjoy Puerto Vallarta.
