Highlights
  • Puerto Vallarta - Manzanillo 2292 - Welcome to our adventure to the Waterfalls, Jungle, and Mountain.

We will meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and take the urban transport direction south of the city, just as the locals do!

After a 15 min drive, we will get off the bus and start walking in the tropical forest. You will get to know lots of different plants, animals and learn about the river.

We will follow a rough path that changes depending on the amount of rain that has fallen and that crosses the river multiple times.

After one hour of hiking and some impressive views up in the mountains, we reach the first waterfall.
Here we can take pictures, rest a bit and have water and fruit.
Between the rocks, we have a refreshing swim with the fish in the small lake.

For the ones that are still not satisfied, we take another path up until the next set of waterfalls.

We end at a lookout high above the jungle with a spectacular view over the bay!

10/10 Adventure with Alex! - Picture this, you’re are directed to meet on the street corner in a city you have never been… this is where the adventure begins. We boarded a city bus after meeting with our you guide (whom was very puntual). After a short travel, we arrived at our starting point. This is not a normal excursion. I would rate the first half of our hike to require moderate activity level. If you want an excursion that is very adventurous, with the OPTION of going from moderate to highly challenging, pick this. I am not going to give away the details, but if you decide to be extra adventurous, you will have a serious adrenaline dump with a beautiful site to see at the end of your conquest. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone whom is willing to take an extra chance.

Nature hike - Alex was our tour guide for this. He clearly loved this hike and was very experienced doing it. He seemed to have a love for nature. We enjoyed it. I thought it was a moderate hike, it did not take that long to do. The waterfall was really beautiful.

Just book it! It’s worth it - We booked this hike last minute and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. It was a beautiful hike along the river to the waterfall. Diego was an amazing tour guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the native plants and animals. He knew the mountain from every angle and seemed to really enjoy sharing his knowledge. He was so friendly and made the journey an unforgettable experience. As much as we enjoyed the hike and the time in nature, there aren’t enough positive things I can say about Diego! If you’re looking to do this hike, I highly recommend Diego to show you the way.

Breathtaking adventure - The hike was beautiful while not being too challenging (outside of the rock climb to the second waterfall). Both waterfalls were definitely worth the journey though.
