Wonderful Experience! - We had so much fun on this tour! Rafael was an amazing tour guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, was very interactive with our group. Our group was about 12 people. We felt safe and taken care of. The rain forest itself was amazing as well. We saw lots of different trees, flora and the occasional lizard and snails and heard all the sounds of a rain forest. Bring good shoes because will be wet and rainy (hence rain forest!). My group of friends and I all wore water shoes and that worked great. We also saw a waterfall and went to Luquillo beach. Overall a wonderful experience! 5 stars!

Rainforest hike & local food tour - Rafael was a great tour guide - he kept the energy light, fun, and informative. We learned about Puerto Rico's flora, fauna, and trade.

Great day trip to rainforest and beach - Our tour guide, Angel, was communicative prior to the tour pick up at our hotel in their small bus. Angel was friendly and we felt safe while he drove us to El Yunque and Luquillo. We enjoyed the time he gave us to walk around the tower and to enjoy the swimming spot in the river. We did not want to do cliff jumping and rock slides, so this was perfect for us! I only wish we had an extra hour in Luquillo to enjoy some more beach time after getting something to eat. We didn’t realize when Angel was leaving us at Luquillo that another employee would be driving us back to San Juan, so we were a bit confused when finding the bus again. We were also sorry to have missed the opportunity to tip Angel.

Nice day trip! - Really enjoyed this day trip to the rain forest and beach/shopping/restaurants. Narration by our guide, Angel, was excellent. We specifically chose this tour because it advertised as less rigorous than other day trips, however, I would note that the rain forest hike (supposedly "easy" path) is still a bit arduous. The walking path has uneven surfaces, areas of descent/ascent, rocks, exposed tree roots, mud and standing water. It took us about 20 minutes each way to walk the route at a slow pace. Once you are at the river/stream, it is not easy to enter the water; the shore is very rocky. Make sure to bring water socks, hiking shoes, beach towel, water bottle, hat and sunscreen.

Great experience! - This tour was great! Not too much hiking to the river where you can swim. The hardest part of the hiking was going back up. Then to the beach after where you can grab lunch and relax until you are picked up at 3p. Perfect little day learning about and exploring part of the rainforest. I would recommend! If you really enjoy hiking I would choose the longer trail.

Great Experience - Loved our tour guide Angel, also loved swimming in the water! Hike was not too hard, going uphill was the only bad part. Would recommend!

Our tour guide Rafael was... - Our tour guide Rafael was very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable for me and my family. As for the hike, don't expect anything moderate , max 10-15min easy hike. I wasn't impressed with Luquillo Beach , it was dirty and the jet skies were super close to the swimming area, but we made it enjoyable.

Many expectations? He let me down. - The experience is very poor in activities. The tour was based on: pick-up that must be extra organized with the tour operator if you stay in Old San Juan and are dropped off in Condado. Transfer to the Anvil. One stop in a tower that can take approximately 10 minutes. Photo a waterfall from inside the bus. Walk to the swimming area, with half an hour of bathing in the river. Then transfer to Luquillo. Free time 2 hours. Little interaction with the guide. There were no local recommendations. In Luquillo we also did not advise good posts or if you could bathe or not and where. The Anvil from my experience is not highly recommended, we saw neither animals, insects, nor birds, just some snails in a tree. The guide did explain a little 3 of the trees in the area. Value for money very bad.

Unprofessional, Rude, Dismissive. - I booked a tour with the understanding that there would be a pickup in San Juan and free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. Despite multiple attempts to confirm the pickup time by calling and messaging through the Viator app, I received no response. I eventually reached out to Viator support, who assured me they would contact the tour operator on my behalf. However, at around 8 PM the night before the tour, the operator finally called to inform me that they were unable to provide the promised pickup and that I would need to take an Uber to a different location. The operator was unprofessional, rude, and dismissive. Given that this was after the 24-hour cancellation window, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding with the tour, and yet I am being told that I cannot receive a refund. This situation is completely unacceptable, and I am extremely dissatisfied with both the operator's lack of communication and poor customer service.
