Good fun - Great trip. Loads of dolphins and a baby hammerhead. The view is good from anywhere on the boat and it was not overcrowded.

Spotted a lot of dolphins - The boat trip was very well organised by the crew. Safety announcements and noticed they had a watchful eye if someone needed reminding. We went out a long way and suddenly there were dolphins all around the boat. Great video opportunity! Then we returned to just off land for sea swimming. Plenty of full face snorkels, pool noodles and float jackets for anyone to use. Even children were safe in this activity. Soft drinks were included at the swim stop. We did feel seasick as it was a bit rough out at sea, that was our only downfall and not the crews fault. They provided sick bags however. In order to not stress the dolphins the boat doesn’t not stay for long around them as many other operators also do the same trip. I felt that good for the welfare of the dolphins. Worth seeing whilst on the island.

Great! - Lovely activit for the family and we got to see some dolphins. Staff were welcoming and attentive. I forgot my phone on the bus on our return and the lady and bus driver made sure to return to me .

Amazing - Phenomenal service from the whole crew! They made sure to speak to everyone especially those being sick! Kept in good contact about updates with coaches and things. Made even better that we got to see Atlantic spotted dolphins. Thank you to all

Beautiful experience - The trip itself was not really fascinating. But once we found dolphins it was a great experience. So many dolphins. The crew did everything they could to spot them. It was a spectacle. Definitely worth it!

Dolphins, flying fish and a turtle rescue - Spirit of the Sea’s staff took excellent care of us from the moment we checked in until the end of the trip. The crew kept the boat ship shape and kept us all entertained, providing plenty of drinks. They communicated clearly and managed expectations well. We spent about an hour looking out to sea and observed Manx Sheerwater birds and then it was a thrill to see flying fish. The crew had told us us to be patient and just when our eyes were imagining dolphin fins in every wave, they announced that they had spotted a large pod of 300 Atlantic Spotted Dolphins. Seeing the speed they swam at on and under the water was incredible. From the catamaran base, you can see through the glass bottom to see them swimming together. It was incredible. On the way back the crew spotted a Loggerhead turtle caught up in a plastic bag and turned back to rescue it. They were very efficient in the rescue mission. The swim stop was just that, I had hoped it would have been in a better snorkelling spot but there was nothing to see. All in all, it was a great trip. It was a thrill to see the dolphins and to do it in good company and with respect to the environment.

Dolphin boat trip - When you arrive you need queue to confirm your booking at the quayside before being given a paper ticket which seems to defeat the object of a paperless ticket. Once on board excellent crew. Was told there was a good chance of seeing dolphins and we say a pod of around 300. Amazing views. Bumpy ride back. Most people seemed ok and not feeling ill. Would recommend this trip.

Saw dolphins! - Lovely people, plenty of space in the boat, well organised. Saw a pod of dolphins! But very, very choppy - I’ve never experienced sea sickness before but had read reviews so had an anti sickness tablet beforehand…and we all felt dreadful on the way back. Lots of people being sick! I’d recommend taking the tablets beforehand if you take this trip!

The first "fail to see dolphins" trip, all previous others have produced results - The sea was not calm, so spotting dolphins was unlikely, yet the boat still went out. The replacement "no sightings" trip only turns out to be valid for a month, which is not much use if you are at the end of your visit.

A cancellation is always lurking. - Don't book an excursion with these villains. They are able to call you off after two days, one day in advance, because the boat is supposedly full. When you want to make sure your trip goes ahead, really find another company.
