Amazing Ziplining and waterfalls tour - We had an amazing time on our ziplining and waterfall tour w Werbe, Willy and Richard. We did the waterfall tour through the cruise ship in September, but this time we went w Dr Prime Tours and we got to do ziplining as well. We also got to a lunch and to watch locals rolling cigars. It was an amazing experience to be immersed in the Dominican Republic culture. We were also in a small ground of our family and 1 other family which made the experience that much better. We also got to go through the town by the cruise terminal at the end and see some fun sites. This is one of my favorite tours we’ve done so far. Werbe was amazing in taking care of us every step of the way. Willy was a great driver and got us to and from the you safely and quickly. And Richard is an awesome guide as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this company and tour!

We had an experience... - We had a magnificent experience, we enjoyed every minute of this excursion. Since we were picked up everyone was very friendly and attentive. William picked us up and we were very comfortable in the guagua, took us to the waterfalls and explained everything in detail. On the trek to the zip lines and waterfalls we were with Tony who gave the extra mile to please us and was explaining every detail, we were also with Robinson who was our paparazzi and I recommend that you add this service because he was in charge of photographing and recording every moment, every experience, and every request we had, even in the water where we did not think it was possible. My husband and I enjoyed it to the fullest! Then William took us to lunch and the food was excellent, Creole and varied food, very good. He also took us to see a local plantation place where we could learn a lot and try some things done there, all excellent. Finally we were able to take a walk through the center of Puerto Plata which is very picturesque and was a perfect end before returning to the boat as we were close. The perfect tour to make the most of the day.

Waterfalls and zip lines - this was awesome. I have been on excursions all over the world and this was one of the best. They are over staffed with guides who were there to help you every step of the way, literally holding your hand to pull you up, help you sit down, fan you, water you whatever. They had a good attitude and very funny. Jonathan and Fernando were our guides, they were great. It was not over crowded they picked us up a little ways down the street outside the cruise port just as described. We were in large NEW air-conditioning working van with 2 other people. Highly recommend this excursion.

Must do tour - A must do zip lines and waterfalls together. Very personable, polite, patient, friendly. Fernando and Jonathan highly recommend, great people., AWESOME tour guides. Took us to a local place for lunch, which felt like a home kitchen made meal. Cigar plantation visit was included, great place for cigars!!

Great excursion and great... - Great excursion and great food! Would recommend to anyone going on a cruise, my group had a great experience. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The zip line and... - The zip line and waterfall experience was very fun. Our chaperone, Daniel, was very kind and helpful, giving us historical lessons about the Dominican forest, wildlife, mamajuana, and cigars. He also made the ride there and back enjoyable with his Dominican music. It was a great experience, and I would definitely come back.

Do not miss this experience! - I travel a lot and have had a mix of experiences when it comes to tours, but truly this tour was fantastic! The national park was definitely crowded so be prepared for that, but sliding downtown the waterfalls was such a unique experience…and it was beautiful. I read reviews about the strenuous hike, and while my family hikes a lot, I found it to be no more than a moderate hike. The guides give MANY stops for people to rest so it does not feel overwhelming at all. Our guides Fernando and Werbe were awesome. At the end of the waterfall, the Dominican lunch was served at a local restaurant and was delicious. My son and I are gluten free and my daughter is vegetarian, and all was able to be accommodated for our diet. Everyone tore up lunch! You will not leave hungry. Next was a cigar rolling demonstration, including being able to pick and smoke a cigar if desired. Cigars were available for purchase. There was rum to try and purchase, as well as coffee and chocolate. The shop had some very unique souvenirs. The prices were more affordable than what you would find at the port. I’ve never been on a tour that included so much for an extremely affordable price. I would 100% recommend this tour. We had a small issue with not being able to do the zip lines because of the timing and the crowds, but the company notified me immediately and wanted to make sure I was happy with only doing the waterfalls. After all was said and done, I really don’t know that I missed the zip lining at all. Anyway, They refunded me immediately for the difference and were just overall amazing to work with. I appreciated their integrity. Their communication was fantastic prior to arrival and instructions very clear. Both our guides were super hospitable and fun to talk to. They also provided some great information about the island and it’s history, culture, and agriculture! Really, don’t miss this adventure!

Way better than cruise as just our group of 10 vs bus of 75! - We can’t say enough about how amazing this was! Our guides & photographer were so engaging & very educational about culture & plants! The food was amazing! The picture package was reasonable! This was the adventure of a life time! We can’t stop talking about it!

Difficult but fun - Lots of walking and climbing. Pretty rough for my wife to make it through this. Also, I want the waterslides. I gotta a big bruise on my bottom. Maybe wear something thick on your bottom if you are skinny. so if you’re in good shape and like some adventure, this is a good one. Plan to get soaking wet.

Not a great tour, pick another option. - We started about 45 minutes late since the van for transportation was not there. Because of this the tour ran late on everything. Our tour lasted over 6 hours and we only got on the ship with 15 minutes to spare, too close for us. We ended up only having 15 minutes at the "plantation". The tasting experience is basically being given one small shot of some alcohol and told to get coffee. Then a tiny piece of chocolate and time to get in the van. We were never offered the local beer or drinks. We were given 1 coke/sprite with lunch and water on the van ride. The guides are not friendly but seem to really be nice when they are begging for tips. It was not a great time and I would not go on this again or recommend to anyone.
