Puerta Plata city tour with beach by E and J tours. - Jose drove us around Puerta Plata to various highlights of the city, starting with a rum distillery tour. His van was air conditioned and very clean. He was a great guide and fun to listen to. We ended our tour at the beach for an hour or so.

Great tour - personal service! - Joseph was an excellent tour guide. It was nice being escorted by a local who really knew his city. He went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was our first visit to Puerto Plata and we were impressed by the people and the culture.

Perfect Day in Puerto Plata - The walk to the taxi stand/pick up area is a lonnnng walk..but not strenuous...after arriving...Joseph picked me up and was enthusiastic..kind and very concerned with making sure we did everything included in the tour and what extra I wanted...my tour lasted 8:30 to 1:30. Perfect timing. This tour really does give you the best the island has to offer...the beach was the only negative (lots if garbage) but we didn't spend much time there..Definitely felt safe.

Birthday Celebration and Surprise in Puerto Plata - Our tour guide, Jesus, was very entertaining, knowledgeable, and courteous. He was well informed. Jesus bought my husband a birthday cake and 2 fresh water coconuts. That was so special and thoughtful of Jesus. He made my husband's birthday a real joy. Jesus also knew the right vendors and locations to show us.
We had a great time in Puerto Plata. Thanks Jesus.

Best tour ever!!!! - Jose and Haziel were amazing. They were family for the hours we spent together. Plus they were informative and made us fall in love with DR. This is a definite must do activity. You will not regret it.

The tour was great, we... - The tour was great, we had a fabulous tour guide. Each stop we made the people were very friendly and informative. We were unable to have beach time due to rain, Jose was fabulous with modifying our times at other locations to make up for it. The only negative was the lunch place chosen. The food was just mediocre and the staff were not friendly. I would highly recommend choosing another establishment for tours in the future.

Nice but a lot of walking - Our driver was very nice & informative. There was more walking than I expected & since just having surgery it was difficult for me to walk. The mine tour was just ok. We could have lived without it. The chocolate factory was a joke. We barely could understand the narrator & do not recommend. Beach was fine
