Sites worth seeing - We had a great time with Edwin on this city tour. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly accommodating. His van was very clean and comfortable. His local lunch recommendation was the icing on the cake. He even took us to multiple restaurants with no fuss due to our dietary restrictions. Definitely worth booking!!!

Must do - It was a great experience. The guys were on time, professional and very nice people. The tour includes all the places you must see while in Puerto Plata, and the guides were very helpful telling us about the city, helping with pictures and giving us time to look around. Totally recommended.

The best day with the perfect hosts! - What an amazing tour with Edwin and Francisco. From the minute I booked this tour, Edwin was quick to respond sharing detailed instructions upon where to meet. Immediately I knew I had chosen the best company. Edwin and Francisco both met me with such warmth and I felt welcomed straight away by them. A great first positive experience to Dominican Republic hospitality! The tour was just exceptional from visiting and tasting rum at Macorix House of Rum, to tasting chocolate and coffee, to making my own cigar and visiting the jewellery factory. In between I was able to experience the true Dominican Republic culture from learning about Paseo de Dona Blanco, to the iconic Umbrella Street. Throughout, Francisco was the best photographer, showing so much patience in taking a whole lot of photos! Thank you so much once again for that. The colourful buildings and the rich culture was truly a memorable experience and one I will never forget! The trip ended with an added bonus of a traditional lunch. Overall, a perfect insight and day tour to Dominican Republic with my newly adopted Dominican Republic family, Edwin and Francisco. You guys are the best hosts and I would 100% recommend anyone who is visiting this part of the world to only book with Edwin Tours, you will not be disappointed!!! Puerto Plata City Tour highly recommend - The tour was great and just what I was looking for! Great itinerary, comfortable/perfect group size, the two guides were great and it was a lot of fun. I was nervous about booking an excursion outside of the Cruise line, but I'm so glad I did as it was a high light of our vacation.

Instantly Turned into a Private Tour - I was so impressed with this tour and the guide. I forget his name, but he was so personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was on a cruise, and of course we have to be back by a certain time. The tour was only suppose to last 4 hours. But it was only 2 in my party, and 4 from another party of friends we met on the cruise. It turned into a private 6 hour tour!! We saw all the sites AND got to stop at the beach and have an authentic puerto plata lunch. Will definitely recommend and tour with this company again. I had a blast!

Great driver, good AC, friendly and kind. - Edwin was a great driver and told us a lot of awesome information about the city and its history. He gave us plenty of freedom to look around each tourist spot, and took amazing photos for us. He even offered to be our taxi back to the airport when we leave! We highly recommend him as a guide.

Above and beyond! - Fabio, our guide was amazing. If there was something we wanted to see that wasn't originally part of the tour, he made it happen. He was patient and super kind. He went out of our way to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. He even let us stop to get food at a Dominican restaurant and it was really good but we had run out of cash! He helped us out my spotting us until we got back to our resort and we paid him back. A true gentleman! Thank you Fabio!!

Book, you won't be disappointed - Hands down this experience was amazing. We were gifted 2 extra stops and this was definitely a tour with great insight on the Dominican culture. Oh and the food...... phenomenal!!! Highly recommend that you choose this tour 👌🏾

It can be improved - The day we did the tour it was raining, I feel like we missed more time to tour the tourist sites, as we visited a lot of trade.

Don't recommend - Dull and boring. The city is not very interesting to look at and the cable lift was broken down. The tours in the establishments were short and uninteresting. You do get free samples of rum at the rum place and you can buy cigars at the cigar place so if you like rum or want to buy cigars that's a plus
