Great tour guide. Had... - Great tour guide. Had cold water and snacks for us upon pick up. Waited for us even though our cruise was a few hours late. Even stopped for us to purchase souvenirs and eat before returning to our cruise. And picked fresh mangoes off the tree!

Highlights of Puerto Plata - This half day tour with Fabio was excellent. Fabio shared a wealth of information about the history and culture of Puerto Plata and the Dominican Republic. Loved Umbrella St, Central Park, Pink Street, the Macorix House of Rum and the beach. Could not see Isabel Torres with cog train since it’s being renovated; however, he took us to another look out of the city.

Island’s Jewels - Fabulous! Our guide Fabio was the best. Friendly, caring and knowledgeable. My favorite and one of the reasons of my visit was the cable car ride to the Cristo Redentor statue on top of Monte Isabel. Just magnificent. We enjoyed each of the stops and the chocolate tasting was just the cherry on the top! Can not wait to go back to POP !

Perfect tour if you have limited time in Puerto Plata - This was the first stop on our cruise and we only had limited time to explore the city and that's why we went with a tour. My husband and I enjoyed greatly this tour, which was more fun and informative than expected! We were the only ones and our tour guide Agustin even met with us earlier than scheduled because our ship arrived early. He was the friendliest welcome to the Dominican republic! He and the driver Samuel took us around the city, seeing all major sights (pink street, cathedral, rum distillery, chocolatery), he didn't rush us and gave us plenty of time. He answered out questions and even impressed my German husband with his knowledge of German, haha. We went to the mount Isabel and then also to the fort. We saw and experienced more than expected and we recommend this tour!
