Water Lover’s Paradise - Days like this are why my wife and I don’t book excursions through cruise ships. Fishing wasn’t offered and would have been twice as expensive. Saul and Willy took us trolling in beautiful waters offshore, but with shoreline still visible. Wish we had time for a full day to increase our chance at a marlin. But, we still scored two mahi mahi and a barracuda. I don’t care if I even catch fish while traveling through these beautiful waters. Excellent way to help local businesses and receive unparalleled service. The guys were great!

Crew worked hard - We didn't catch any fish but the crew worked very hard. It's not the crew's fault the fish didn't cooperate.

Give Mahi Mahi Fishing Charters a try when in Puerto Plata. - We have chartered Mahi Mahi a couple times now. We have had a great time with each trip. We are already booking another charter in September. Highly recommend. Great crew, nice boat, reasonably priced!

Fantastic crew, Super nice boat and great fishing. - We booked our second charter for Oct 4, 2022. We had the same awesome experience as our first charter. The crew are amazing and the captain stayed in touch before the charter to make sure we were set to go. Caught lots of fish and had a great time! We certainly book with Mahi Mahi again next time in Puerto Plata.

A Must Do! - Great experience and a must do! Captain Bart provided transportation to and from our hotel. Willy and Jacob made sure we were comfortable on board with snacks and drinks. They are very friendly and knowledgeable and did their best to get us to the areas where the fish were biting. You may decide to try the full day experience so you can go out farther. We will surely be back next year for another adventure! This company truly treats you like a friend!

EXCELLENT fishing experience - This was my second year going on a charter with Berto’s mahi mahi fishing charters. Berth picked us up from our resort and stopped so we could grab snacks for the boat. Our first mate was very knowledgeable of the equipment on the boat and very attentive. We were a group of 5 adults and we caught over 10 fish from mahi to barracuda! Once we finished our 4 hours they cut up the mahi for us to take home. This company is so wonderful and I would HIGHLY recommend taking advantage of the great hospitality Berto and his crew extend to their customers!

Fantastic experience, must do! - We had the best time on the Diana with Captain Willy and First Mate Jacob. The owner Bartalo is super friendly and knowledgeable. He personally picked us up at our resort and took us home at the end of the day. The waves were pretty rough, but we still had a great time. Jacob did everything for us, so all we had to do was the fun part- fight our fish once he got them on the line. It was the highlight of our trip to the Dominican. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone considering a fishing trip.

Dolphins ate our fish. - This was a great day on the water. We were greeted by a group of dolphins and witness what was thought to be a shark thrashing in the water. Unfortunately, there were no fish bitting despite the efforts of the captain and first mate. The Dolphins got there first. :). Overall, great trip.
