FANTASTIC EXCURSION - This was the best bang for your buck! When we arrived, we immediately hopped on the ATV’s. Dani, our tour guide, went way beyond expectations for this excursion. He allowed us to ride the ATVs for at least two hours with making multiple stops throughout the way so that we could see the life of the Dominicans and get drinks and beverages. After we finished riding the ATVs, our taxi driver, then took us to downtown area and umbrella District the Amber Museum and offered more stops, but we had to head back to the boat. If you’re looking for an excursion off the boat that is not crazy expensive and you want the most for your buck, this is your excursion.

Worth a trip - We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the buggy centre. We were given our quad bikes with instruction, then off we went. The trail was fun, with lots of mud and water to race through. It was great fun. We stopped at a beach for refreshments and were on the trails again after 30 mins. It was great fun. When we had to do short journeys on the road, there were other staff that ensured the safety of crossing them by holding traffic up so we could cross. All the staff were super friendly Great mornings, fun ! 😁

Great fun morning - This was great fun tour. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had plenty of staff taking great photos and stopping traffic when we all needed to be across the road. Lovely views across farm land and beautiful sea, mounting views. We had a fun morning.

Fun and different - Great excursion. Way Better than what the cruise offered. Kind of off the beaten path which made it better. Timely pickup and drop off. Guides were friendly. I would not hesitate to book again.

EXTREMELY GOOD! Your New Adventure Awaits! - The 4 Wheels Drive Tour by Anthonyinfotours was just what I needed! From the time it was booked, Anthony contacted me to say he received my booking, and to confirm which hotel I wanted to be picked up from. Then on the day of the toll, he contacted me to tell me that the driver was on the way. My sister and I were very lucky that we were the only two people on there afternoon tour so we got personalized service. The tour itself was great, as we drove through some back road country areas in the Dominican Republic. As I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago, but now live in the US, Ohio, for the past 23 years, some of the tropical landscape reminded me of home. The people driving by and sitting around were very friendly, it was good to see, donkeys, cows, and the occasional goat grazing as we rode by. The piece of the tour was ideal, so both beginners, like my sister, and more seasoned TV drivers like myself could enjoy it. I have done this type of activity about five times before, but this was the best tour, yet! There was some rugged, paved streets, mud, puddles, Rocky areas, small hills, and flat road to drive upon… so you will give a good sense of what the ATV could handle, and it was great fun moving from one type of terrain to the other. And the best part of it all, was that the whole tour was about an hour long, unlike the ATV tours in the US, which are high priced, I only get to ride for 20 minutes to half an hour. Johnny, the driver, was friendly and helpful to my sister, who had mobility issues, and it was good that he spoke and understood English very well. A pleasant surprise was that the tour guides took four and a short video of you, writing the ATV on the tour, and sent it to you, at no charge at the end of the tour thank you so much! Danny, our lead Tour Guide airdropped the food tour before we left but the other guide, i’m sorry I did not get his name, as he rode at the back of the line and sharing my sister was OK, while I rode upfront with Danny… But the other Tour Guide forgot to send a video. However, when I contacted Anthony later on, at 8:30 PM at night and asked if he could get in touch with the Tour Guide and send the video… He did so right away, even though it was outside business hours! So they all gained points for exceptional customer service and follow through! Thanks guys for taking such good care of us , and for being the light on my birthday! The only negative we experience was that there was an optional $10 USD per person, CASH, insurance fee requested at the start of the tour which was not mentioned on the tour details website. So having to pay $20 cash that I did not anticipated, made me a little uncomfortable… Not so much because of the amount, but because there was no mention of this initially, and that cut into the CASH that I was going to leave the tour guides and driver as as tips. However, overall, my sister and my experience on this four wheel ATV tour was great! And I most highly recommend it to anyone seeking a little adventure! Below I have summarized the highlights, both negative and positive. PROS • Great customer service. • Attentive and reliable. • Safe (One Tour Guide lead the tour in front, whilst the other followed at the back to ensure everyone was safe). • The ride was at the moderate piece, ideal for both beginners and experts alike. • Diverse range of terrine to experience. • A few photos and short video from your ATV trip are provided free of charge. • You are actually riding the ATV for an entire hour! CON • Optional insurance charge, not listed in tour details that could only be paid for in cash.

Good Ride! - We did the ATV's in the Dominican Republic with this tour group. The communication was GREAT!!!! They picked (and dropped) us up at end of the cruise ship pier. The driver was waiting, and he drove the 4 of us to the meeting point. The tour guys were friendly. The equipment looked well kept. It was only the 4 of us on the tour. It originally was only 2 but we met 2 people on the cruise, the night before, and they wanted to join us. The tour was good. They made a few stops to give us the opportunity to buy things and I guess to also support the locals. The two of us really didn't need to make stops but that was fine. The other 2 people thirsty and bought coconuts and they were opened with a machete. The tour was enjoyable but not that exciting as we were mostly on a dirt road. We are used to being on more of challenging ride. (Later that day, a couple on the cruise told us they were taken into the "jungle/forest" on their ride organized by the cruise, and they loved it.) The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because we would have enjoyed a more challenging ride, but it may be the terrane in the DR, which they can't help. Bring a bandana! The do not provide one nor do they sell them. Bring cash to tip and to buy things (drink and such) along the way. You will not have any place to put stuff...bring a backpack! They did stop at the beach, so bring a towel. We all rode single. We would not recommend riding double, there is not much room for a 2nd person. We would think it would be uncomfortable. We would highly recommend them! ENJOY THE RIDE!

Would not recommend - We were transported by minivan to a location that resembled a residential home. The driver was courteous and spoke English. We arrived at the home with two teenagers doing maintenance on the ATVs. We were also under the impression that we would have our own vehicles, but they planned on having two people on one ATV. They did not have two-seater ATVs, and we paid extra (cash) to have separate ones, which doubled the price. We were offered bandanas to cover our faces from dirt for $3 (worth it). Both ATVs were in less than optimal condition, with both having service lights lit up (overheating). My friend was using an ATV which had its seat and entire back panel detach during the ride. I was covered in oil and grease by the end as well, and my helmet was so loose that had I fallen, I would be dead. As for the ride, we were taken on a rocky road parallel to the beach. The first stop was to a souvenir shop on the side of the road targeting tourists - mostly cheap stuff, but also some cigars. The next stop was at another "store" selling drinks. We then headed back and finally stopped at a beach for about 15 minutes. Our tour guide did not talk to us at all for the two hours, so we had no idea what we were seeing or where we were. We rode on busted-up ATVs but didn't really see anything. We were on a back country road the entire time and were not given information about the island.
