You should do this tour if you love adventure. Puerto Plata with its charms invites you to experience the 7 waterfalls of Damajagua (Charcos), discovered just a few years ago and submerged in the beautiful hills of the northern mountain range, this natural monument is part of the system of protected areas of the Dominican Republic. 7 Waterfalls is hidden up in a tropical canyon is a string of waterfalls that you can hike to and slide down, swim under, and jump off on your way back down Jump, swim, and slide down natural waterslides.
Buffet , lunch, Water, coke , equipment, and round-trip transportation from the cruise terminal are included. Note: 27waterfalls are close for the moment because don’t have a lot water We are just doing 7waterfalls excursion.
- Minimum age 8. Children 8-17 must be accompanied by an adult
- It is recommended that you wear an old pair of running shoes, swimwear and a towel. We recommend women wear shorts over their bathing suits.
- Professional guides going with you to the waterfall he wait for us in the waterfall.
- Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities and not possible for wheelchair users

Hands down best excursion, best guides ever!! - This was the best excursion we have ever booked!! Our guides: Mara, Monkey and our driver, Johnny were AMAZING!!!! They were the best. Made sure we had everything we needed, the food was great at the end!! Monkey made sure to get the best pics!! The plantation tour after was cool too, we got to try organic chocolate and Mamajuana. (A wine made there). They even took extra time after the excursion to take us to Pink street and Umbrella street!! They were just awesome!! Highly recommend this excursion!! You guys ROCKED!!!!

The best customer service - Wow! From start to finish it was a perfect day and I’m so glad we booked through this versus the cruise company. They met us right outside the port and drove us in a clean van, that day it felt like a private tour because it was just my husband and I along with the crew due to no one else booking with them that day and only 1 ship being at Port.
They were so nice and kind and so helpful. You can leave your phone/or gopro because the pictures and video they offer were super cheap so that was a no brainer to buy them and not worry about getting them yourself. The photographer got so many good pics of me and my husband and literally went all the way through the entire thing with us and got the best action shots!!! Then we had a good authentic Dominican lunch. Can’t ask for a better day!! If we come back to Amber Cove then we will be booking this again with DSRR!!

Exhilarating Waterfall Jump - My husband did this whole tour experience. He said it was quite intense and exhilarating at the same time with some of the jumps into the water, but so much fun!!! He really enjoyed it!! I went on the hike but didn’t do the jumps. You can choose to do the hikes but not the jumps.

Memorable - The directions given to find the tour were good enough to get there. Basically you go outside the port towards the highway. Our van driver and tour guide were both friendly and helpful. We took a 20 minute ride to the falls. Our group joined with a larger group to do the hike. Most of the others were from the cruise ship excursion. We were issued helmets and lifejackets. The hike was uphill but they took many rest stops along the way. I never felt winded. Once to the falls, it was so fun to slide down them. There were a total of 4. Two you had to slide and two you could jump, slide, or climb down a ladder. No pressure to make a certain choice. The cruise ship excursion people could not jump. You wade or swim to get to the next falls. The water was a perfect temperature. The hike back to the base was downhill or flat and shorter. We enjoyed the lunch of rice, beans, chicken, porkchops and salad. They also had a pasta bar. It was all you could eat. On the way back to the port, they made a stop at a cigar making store. You could purchase local goods there. Cash or a mark up for card. It was a great experience and I would definitely book with them again.

Awesome tour company - We had a wonderful day with this tour company. The waterfalls were so much fun! I loved the incredible lunch- chicken was great. We are still waiting on our photos but Alex was a great paparazzi! Thanks, Elizabeth, for all the fun and information.

Must do excursion in Amber Cove - Amazing experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Amazing experience - We booked this tour while cruising and I was nervous to book something outside the cruise ship but so happy we did and would do it over again! DSRR has amazing communication, they texted us before our trip with clear instructions and even responded before with questions I had! Our tour guide Kilin (might be spelling wrong) was so great! He took time to explain everything gave us opportunities to rest and recovery from the hiking and made sure we got the best experience! Angel our “ Paparazzi” was quiet but took great photos of us!!! The lunch for us was so delicious my husband really felt at home eating this food! 10/10 would recommend and would book again with this company!!! 📸💧🏝️

Playing in the waterfalls! - We visited the falls and had so much fun as a family! We had a good hike up to the falls, then went down water rock slides and jumped into pools of water near the falls! It was a great family adventure!

Waterfall adventure - Mara and Joni were awesome!! Very friendly and informative about the area. Quick to get us to the waterfall excursion from our cruise ship. Took care of us every step of the way!! Perfect directions on how to find them once we disembarked from the ship. We definitely recommend them for your next adventure!!!
