10/10 would go again immediately - Whole family had a fabulous time, Elizabeth and Anthony were like friends to us by the end of our visit. We would have loved to see more waterfalls but it was dry season and not many were open. The water was beautiful and refreshing, we bought the photo package afterwards (extra) and had hundreds of photos loaded onto our phones. I even learned a new Dominican rap song thanks to our guide, Justin, while we were hiking to the waterfalls 😆 (I'm a 46 yr old white guy - que lo que Justin!) I will say if you never work out the hike to the waterfalls will be hard for you. I work out at least a couple of times a week and there were a couple challenging times but they stop and wait for everybody - it was actually fun. If you struggle with mobility at all I would skip this, but if you're in any kind of shape you should be fine, our family of 4 had no problem including our 16 year old son and 13 year old daughter. Our family agreed it was about 5/10 on a strenuous scale. The food afterwards was fantastic and really hit the spot, had some chicken and rice and a salad and a delicious Coca-Cola. Kind of forgot they had a stop at a local Dominican coffee roastery and some shopping, and I'm so glad it was. We had a good laugh grinding coffee and made some more memories. If you're trying to decide between tours then look no further and book your trip immediately.

Beautiful time in the waterfalls. - Everything was very nice. The tour ppl were very friendly. I love the introduction to coffee and chocolate and the market stop. My kids were very nervous to go on the natural water slides and jumping in the water. But they conquered their fear with encouragement. Everything was safe and well done.

Must do excursion - Demands fitness. But all worth it. Must do excursion in the island. The included food, wine and coffee tasting tour, air conditioned ride, guide, I would say “just do it”.

Epic and memorable family adventure - We chose this tour after reading all great and recent reviews. We are a family of 3 and docked in port off a cruise ship. We opted to book directly with the tour operator. From the moment we started the hike, our excitement began building as we came to the first waterfall. Arms tucked, nose pinched like they lead guide showed us, I was the first down the slides with a deep plunge in the water. It was epic! Then the children's turn, 12 and 15 years. We all came up with screams of excitement. What an adrenaline rush. Once I realized what we were in for I felt elated. There were two tall jump offs and 5 smaller ones. You do have the option to slide, junp or ladder off the bigger falls. Our tour photographer was with us each step of the way and he was amazing swiming along the river with his camera suspended in the air. He captured every jump, slides and celebratory moment of our adventure. At the end of the last fall, you had the option to do it again and again if you wanted. I would say from the start of the first fall to the last, it took abot 1.5 -2 hours, add an 0.45 hours for the hike and about 0.5 hours for the walk back and return of helmet and vest. Danielle our guide was right at the staring point to greet us and take us back to the waiting bus. We made sure to tip the guides and were off to a lunch stop at a local Dominican Republic restaurant where a self serve buffet was laid out. The food was phenomenal. We had salads, white and seasoned rice, stewed beans, chicken, pork and a large plate of fresh avocado and the restaurant's special seasoning was placed on the table for us to enjoy. Our tour also included water and soda. We didn't take long to finish our scrumptious meal and thanked the restaurant host. We were off to the next stop of a plantation where we had a fantastic introduction to the agriculture industry, cocoa, cotton and cofee trees and hand made cigar manufacturing. I got to taste 40% proof alcohol and a milder 4% honey rum, all delicious. I also opted to take and paid for the full photo package inclusive of video by card which was transfered on my phone. At $65 dollars, what an excellent value. Can't say enough about how wonderful and accomplished we felt and how the tour team made us so welcome. A quick drive back to the port and we were back with 1 hour plus to spare and shop around before heading back to the ship. It's an understatement to say that this was an amazing experience. Kudos to Dr. Prime Tours for making this adventure one that we will never forget.
