Great experience, great service - This was one of the best experiences ever. The company was very professional, responsive, provided great instructions on where to meet, and rendered VIP services start to finish. Our driver was very very good. Our guide Elizabeth explained everything well and never left our side (except on the hike and waterfalls), the photographer Alex captured every moment and sent the photos expeditiously. So glad we booked outside of our cruise company for this one because it’s a popular excursion and the cruise groups were much larger. At the falls our group was small and the guides were very patient and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I will definitely associate this tour company with excellence.

Great excursion - DSRP company, the bus driver Jose Miguel, Elizabeth and specially their guide JB were very kind and fun. These was a great excursion and great service.

Great experience not to be missed - Sliding down the waterfalls and jumping off the cliff were both an unbelievable experience not to be missed. The hike up was challenging but short. It was nice being a part of a small group, just our family. Our guide took a lot of pictures which was great since we didn’t have waterproof cameras or cases for our phones. He emailed me a link to the pictures and videos, it was an extra cost. We were able to rent water shoes, which are a necessity, at a very reasonable price. Could have done without the tobacco plantation stop at the end, but it was interesting.

Trated us like family - Our photographer JB treated us like family. He made sure that no one was in the back ground (as much as possible) and took personalized pictures and videos of us. The waterfalls were amazingly beautiful and so much fun! I wish we had time to do the 27 waterfall tour after experiencing the 7. JB also got us some authentic DR food! Then they brought us to a little farm where we got to try fresh mangoes and other products from a tiny little comfy store. It was a very memorable experience! Highly recommend booking through them instead of the cruise. I just wish the waterfall tour wasn't so rushed. I know JB didn't have control of that.

Waterfalls and fun! - Wonderful excursion if you’re looking for the full experience without the cruise ship prices. Lilo, Elizabeth, and monkey were fantastic. Monkey took great pictures, the lunch was wonderful, and Elizabeth made sure everything ran smoothly!

great experience - i went on this excursion off of my cruise with my two daughters (16 & 18..i am 54). we all had the best time! the tour operators and guides were amazing. customer service excellent. the hike itself and the waterfall slides and jumping were a little more hard core than i had expected, but that’s probably bc i’m terrible at researching. but i did it and im so glad for the experience. a few notes if you are considering this: make SURE you have really good/stable water shoes. i bought ours from amazon and they definitely did not offer enough support and stability…you will be walking over and balancing on rocks almost the entire time. also, i thought the excursion was 4 hours but we were gone closer to 6. we still got back to our ship on time. and last it’s quite a walk from the port to the meet up point so make sure leave plenty of time. all in all i would highly recommend

SO MUCH FUN!! - This is a must do experience! The waterfalls and rocks are beautiful. The jumps and slides are exhilarating. I was nervous about the last jump, as it is 18 feet high but I did it and got out and done it again. It was me, my husband, and our 2 teen boys. They are still talking about this excursion and this is an experience we will all always remember. The hike up the mountain is strenuous but do able, DSRR tour group was very understanding and would let you stop and take any needed breaks. The night before the tour, I received a text message from DSRR with all the same information as the email, explaining where we needed to go to meet them. It is a good 15 min walk once you leave the ship, you will go out of Amber Cove cruise port, through the gate, across the entrance road and walk down the side of the road on a sidewalk where you will see vans and tour groups holding signs. There are plenty of tour group employees along the way to help guide you. We lucked out and had a private tour with just our family that day. We met Elizabeth (which is the owners daughter) at the bus, she introduced us to Jonathon, our private photographer, which took some amazing photos, buy the photos you will not regret. I am the mom who is always taking pictures and not always in the pictures but this time I was in them all, and videos! Elizabeth was very sweet and talked to us the whole ride to the waterfalls, answering all our questions about their cultures and lives. The van also has free Wifi and A/C. Once we arrived at the waterfalls we was introduced to our tour guide which was so much fun! He made us laugh so much during the tour. Once we completed the waterfalls, Elizabeth and Lilo (driver) was waiting for us to eat lunch off the buffet, and provided sodas for our whole family. We truly enjoyed not only the waterfalls but also DSRR tour group and highly recommend both. And so much cheaper than booking through your cruise line. One of the first questions DSRR asked was what time we wanted to be back at the port because they want to make sure you have time at Amber Cove and don't have to stress about missing your ship.

Great experience - Had a great time. The guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The hike wasn’t too bad up the hill but those who were less athletic found it challenging. Was totally worth the effort once you reached the falls and refreshing cool water. The food afterwards was tasty. We bought the pictures taken from the guides and it was emailed as promised in about 3-4 days.

Amazing experience and superb crew! - My partner and I had a great time. We applaud the amazing service and the friendly guides. They were super accommodating and easy to reach after for photos (thank you to the photographer Werbe and the owner). It was a 15 to 20-minute hike up to the falls, plenty of time in the water, ate at a delicious buffet, and went to a fruit/tobacco plantation afterward. Which was way more than what we were expecting! Definitely recommend!

Adventure to remember - This is our second time in this shore excursion and still as exciting from the first time. Operator is very friendly and professional.
