Unforgettable Beach Horseback Ride! - This horseback riding tour with Ramon’s Tours was absolutely incredible! The guides were so kind, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable — even first-time riders. The ride through the countryside and along the beach was breathtaking, and the horses were calm and well cared for. We even got amazing photos to remember the experience! After the ride, we relaxed on a beautiful beach with a refreshing drink — the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Plata!

Honeymoon Horseback Ride - Me and my wife went on this horseback ride while cruising to Puerto Plata D.R. The instructions from Ramon’s tours was excellent. Just make sure you pass thru all the tour operators area outside of Taino Bay cruise terminal and there you will see your tour guides holding a Ramon tours/group sign. We had to wait about 30-45 minutes for another couple that had gotten lost and boy was it hot and humid and the guys from Ramons took us to an air conditioned van and we were able to cool off while waiting. We then were driven to the horseback riding area and were fitted with an appropriate horse for our skill. We didn’t have to wear helmets so that was awesome. We were taken through a ride through the Forest area and then on to the beach/ocean. They take almost all photos and video. Oscar is great at that and has very reasonable prices at the end. You ride to a secluded beach area where you can get authentic pina coladas and there are beach vendors there. Don’t be afraid to haggle with the vendors or just politely tell them no if you don’t want any braids or jewelry. We did drink some very tasty pina coladas and had pictures taken with a squirrel monkey which cost 10 dollars but it was so fun! You spend about 45 mins at this beautiful beach where you unwind and then its back on the Horses and ride back to the ranch area. There was 4 of us riding and about 4-5 guides and they were so helpful and kind. Would recommend this tour to all. Was so much cheaper than doing it thru the cruise line.

We had fun riding our horses in the jungle area and beach side. People were very friendly. - I really appreciated the response time with booking and confirmation online and through texting from the company. Our driver was on time. He was very informative and caring. He made sure we were ok and comfortable the entire drive time we were with him. The horses were in excellent condition. The two people with us were also helpful and made it fun for all of us. The views were amazing.. we took so many photos. I would highly recommend this trip and this company 👍

Amazing Horseback Riding on the Beach - We had an amazing time horseback riding along the beach. The horses were well cared , which made the experience even better. Booking was super easy—we called in the morning and got a spot the same day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The ride itself was peaceful and scenic. My kids had so much fun, and we captured great memories. We definitely do it again and highly recommend to all.

Beautiful horseback riding on the beach. - Totally positive experience that met our expectations. Picked up at the exit of Taino Bay by minibus, in about half an hour you arrive at the place where the horses are present. The starting point is not the best as it is a kind of open dump. There will have been about fifteen horses and after a brief briefing in English and Spanish, the column is formed and we start along very beautiful tree-lined paths, to Bergantin beach. The route also runs along the beach and on the shoreline, and is quite impressive. Upon arrival, after just over half an hour, you stop in a sort of pine forest with coconut palms (avoid being under the bunches) and those who want can take advantage of the beach to take a nice refreshing bath. There are also shacks on site where you can buy drinks. One of the guys on the staff takes care of filming and photographing all the members of the group and, by bargaining you can buy footage. Same route as far as the return. The animals are kept discreetly, all with American saddles, they are very docile and knowing how to govern them properly it is also possible to vary the route slightly, not necessarily always remaining in an Indian line. The young boys of the staff are very kind, friendly and helpful and have given maximum assistance even to those who had never ridden a horse, including some children with parents.
