Tambopata National Reserve - Upon arrival, the team warmly welcomes guests at the airport or bus station and facilitates their transfer to the office for registration.

Next, enjoy a picturesque hour-long drive to Philadelphia, followed by a 10-minute boat ride on the Tambopata River to reach the lodge.

The guide will provide an orientation on lodge policies, after which guests can relax in their comfortable rooms.

Following a refreshing siesta and a delightful lunch, embark on a two-hour guided trek through the lush tropical forest, discovering a variety of medicinal plants and ancient trees over 600 years old. The guide will lead guests to trails and a bird-watching tower, offering chances to observe exotic wildlife.

Return to the lodge after sunset for a rest, then set out on a nocturnal adventure to spot wildlife.

On clear nights, marvel at the stunning view of the Milky Way, filled with countless stars and shooting stars.

After an enjoyable ecological walk, return for dinner.

Explore the Tambopata Reserve: Macaw Watching at the Chuncho Clay Lick

Tambopata National Reserve - Day 2 begins serenely with a warm cup of coffee or tea before embarking on a boat journey along the Tambopata River. During the 30-minute cruise, there may be sightings of wildlife such as jaguars, anacondas, or capybaras. Arrive at the Chuncho Clay Lick, where hundreds of macaws and parrots create a vibrant spectacle as they feed on mineral-rich clay. Spend approximately three hours observing this natural wonder while enjoying a delicious country-style breakfast. Later, explore smaller river branches in search of more wildlife, including tapirs, monkeys, turtles, alligators, wild pigs, and river cats. In the afternoon, return towards the city and visit Lake Yacumama, renowned for its stunning sunsets and abundant birdlife. A rowboat tour offers opportunities to spot black alligators, herons, ducks, and possibly a family of otters. Guests may catch and release piranhas for photos before returning to the lodge to relax after a day full of adventure.

Sandoval Lake – “Matsigenka” Community

Tambopata National Reserve - Sunrise or sunset is an ideal time for wildlife observation. Depart at dawn by boat to reach Sandoval Lake within the Tambopata National Reserve. After a 3 km walk along a wooden trail, surrounded by vibrant fauna, board a rowboat to explore the lake. Spot black caimans, giant otters, herons, turtles, monkeys, macaws, and wild ducks. Return to the lodge for lunch before noon. In the afternoon, visit a Matsigenka family to learn about their customs and traditions. They demonstrate how to use bows and arrows, weave cotton, and make fire using natural materials. Return to the lodge at sunset. After dark, venture into the forest with flashlights for a night walk, searching for nocturnal animals like porcupines, sloths, insects, reptiles, night monkeys, and owls. Return for dinner and rest after an exciting day in the jungle.

Arrive at one of these ancient trees, over 700 years old, and begin the hanging bridges experience.

These bridges, suspended between the trees, offer breathtaking views of the rich fauna inhabiting the forest canopy.

The Collpa Chuncho tour provides immense opportunities to observe exotic species.

Keep an eye out for toucans, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, monkeys, lizards, orchids, and other exotic plants and animals.

In the afternoon, return to the city to collect any luggage left behind, before heading to the airport or bus station, depending on travel plans.
