Day 1: CANOPY / NATIVE FAMILY VISIT / SANDOVAL LAKE

Puerto Maldonado - Guests will be picked up from the airport or bus station and transferred to the river port (Capitania Port), followed by a one-hour boat journey down the river.

Puerto Maldonado - The next stop is a visit to a native family, offering an opportunity to learn about their culture.

• Following this, lunch will be enjoyed at a local restaurant.

Puerto Maldonado - Post-lunch, a 30-minute journey will lead to a 27-meter-high tower, providing access to a suspension bridge. Crossing the bridge among trees reaching 89 meters tall at a height of 37 meters offers a unique chance to observe wildlife not visible from the ground.

Puerto Maldonado - Prepare for an exhilarating experience with zip-lining, feeling like birds as they soar along a cable, covering over 190 meters in just seconds.

Puerto Maldonado - The adventure continues with another hanging bridge, 75 meters long and 27 meters high, followed by a glide along a 160-meter cable. Safety, fun, and adrenaline are fully guaranteed during this adventure.

Tambopata National Reserve - The journey proceeds by boat to Sandoval Oxbow Lake, followed by a trek into the Tambopata National Reserve.

Lago Sandoval - After passing the entry checkpoint, a 90-minute walk leads to Maloka Sandoval Lodge, where accommodations are provided near the lake.

• In the evening, an exploration to spot caimans’ eyes is planned.

DAY 2: MACAW PALM LICK/ SWIMMING IN THE LAKE

Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick - An early start to witness the macaw palm lick, a unique site in the National Reserve where various macaws and parrots feed on mineral-rich dead palms, essential for digestion.

• Breakfast will be served back at the lodge.

Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick - After breakfast, a walk to explore the stunning flora is planned, with opportunities to spot mammals like monkeys, deer, peccaries, tapirs, sloths, and anteaters.

• Lunch will be enjoyed back at the lodge.

Lago Sandoval - Post-lunch, guests can enjoy a swim in the lake.

• A canoe visit to Sandoval Lake follows, showcasing the diverse flora and fauna around the lake.

• Dinner will be served back at the lodge.

Peru - After dinner, a hike to observe nocturnal animals such as night birds, insects, spiders, tarantulas, scorpions, and frogs is available.

• Overnight stay in the comfortable lodge.

DAY 03: LAKE SANDOVAL / PUERTO MALDONADO / AIRPORT

Puerto Maldonado - After an early breakfast, guests will retrace their steps back to Puerto Maldonado and then proceed to the airport or bus station. If there is no early flight or bus, guests can enjoy more time in Puerto Maldonado.
