• Peninsula Valdes - Whale season: from June to mid-December.

Start the day early by heading to the protected natural area of Valdés Peninsula. At the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, visit the Interpretation Center. From its viewpoint, enjoy the unique opportunity to see both gulfs simultaneously, along with the peninsula’s geographical features and the Island of the Birds.

• Puerto Piramides - In the sole urban center of Península Valdés, explore its rich history and scenic beauty. From late June to early December, experience the incredible whale watching.
• Caleta Valdes - Witness the stunning geographical feature known as Caleta, a water inlet that supports diverse wildlife, including penguins (from mid-September to early April), sea elephants, some sea lions, and, with luck, the majestic killer whales engaging in intentional stranding to feed.
• Punta Delgada - From June to December, visit the southern part of the peninsula to see salt flats, sea elephants, sea lions, and a variety of terrestrial wildlife.
• Punta Norte - From December to May, this stop is a must-see. Discover a continental colony of sea lions and the world’s best spot to observe killer whales stranding to feed. Additionally, enjoy a beautiful interpretation center.
• Centro De Visitantes Istmo Ameghino - This interpretation center is a must-visit, offering insights into the flora and fauna of the remarkable world heritage site, Península Valdés. Climb the tower to view the Island of the Birds and ponder the musings of aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Was it a hat or a cobra that swallowed an elephant?
