EXCELLENT!! - THE BEST SURF CLASSES!!! Pablo is excellent, patient and gives you all the necessary bases to improve class by class! I would definitely recommend it with my eyes closed!

Surfing - Pablo and Ivan were so helpful and kind. Me and my friend were very much beginners and they taught us a lot. Totally recommend to any beginners as they take you where the waves are up to your level.

Best decision you will make to surf Puerto Escondido - The best decision I made was to sign up for surf lessons with Pablo from Chingon Surf Lessons while visiting Puerto Escondido. No matter your skill level, you only have to watch the point-break surf at La Punta once to realize your attempts to surf will be challenging with the crowds of surfers and the speed, size, and rules of the waves. But Pablo and his crew were born and raised in the area, they are professional, and respected by the other coaches on the beach. You will have a much more enjoyable time surfing in the PE area with them by your side. As a relative beginner to the sport, Pablo helped to improve my surfing skills, wave knowledge, and confidence. Pablo keeps the number of lessons small to ensure your safety. On numerous occasions, I witnessed the large group lessons putting their students on crowded waves, especially after a long wait for a set to roll in, which (though hard to believe) resulted in numerous collisions. I did ten private 2-hour sessions with Pablo but never once did this happen to me. He would advise me on the perfect timing to enjoy a less crowded and beautiful wave. I loved it! Also, as a female taking lessons by myself, I felt 100% safe with Pablo. He would even pick me up at my hotel in La Punta and take me to secret surf beaches where I had magical days surfing lefts and rights with virtually “no people”!! Many visitors to the Puerto Escondido area get frustrated with the surf, but not me. I had the best time. Muchas gracias to Pablo at Chingon for making it possible. Without a doubt, I 100% recommend them. Don’t hesitate over this decision. Your surfing will improve, you won’t tick off other surfers, and you won’t get hurt. You’ll just surf!

Wonderful Experience - Highly recommend. Went with a group of friends, most of the groups were beginners and everyone was able to catch a few waves with their excellent instruction. We all got one on one time and left with a huge smile on our face.

Great first surf lesson - We had such an awesome morning learning how to surf with Pablo, Diego, Emilio, & Ivan! We were three beginner surfers, and they made us feel so safe. We started with a quick theory and safety lesson on the beach, practiced our pop-up form, then headed into the water. We each had our own instructor who was by our side the entire time we were in the water, giving us instructions. We learned so much and were all consistently standing up during the lesson! You should absolutely choose this team for your surf lessons in Puerto!!!

Best first surfing experience ever! - Surfing with Pablo and his squad was pure bliss and enjoyment with guaranteed success. Surfing classes are very well structured, they briefed us in with theory, safety and wave conditions before we jumped into the water. All instructions are super nice and the team really knows how to spark a love for surfing or get you back to focus if they see you struggling. After our first class we knew immediately that we wanted to come back for the follow up lessons.

Great 5-day course - We had 5 days of semi-private lessons with Pablo! He was a great teacher and it was an amazing experience. It was our first time and with his help we managed to ride quite some waves (already on the first day) The only thing we would do differently next time is a 1-day break in between. Thanks, Pablo!
