Excellent experience - The instructor was super cool and nice, everything was very smooth and great teacher. We easily stood up and caught some long waves, maybe 50m. 10/10 experience. Thanks to the Silva’s and Oni.

10/10 surf lesson experience. Amazing instructors & lesson - This morning my partner and I had a 2hr surf lesson with Oni and we had the most amazing time! He first taught us the basics on land until he felt we were ready and then brought us to the water. He gave great instructions, was really nice and fun to hang out with. We caught nearly every wave with his help and when we returned he gave us great tips and tricks to improve. The location was perfect and we had nice long runs and really enjoyed everything. He really took care of our comfort, made sure we were ready and gave us great attention and advice. Could not recommend more! Special thanks as well to Ari for helping us organize our booking and photos. Definitely book with them if you are considering surf lesssons in puerto escondido.

Would 10/10 recommend - Good surfschool. Would book again. Cool guys! Got almost private lesson. Something to take into account is when you are a complete beginner is that it can be quite crowded in the water (Playa Carrizalillo) with other surfers / instructors.

- My time in this class was one of the most fun I've ever had. Jorge was my instructor and was wonderful. It helped me a lot to improve my technique. I felt very confident in my skills from the first couple of waves. Also, it was very friendly and fun to talk to him. I recommend this school 100%

From the best experiences of my trip to Puerto Escondido! - A truly unique and unforgettable experience. If you are in Puerto Escondido, surfing is something you simply have to do, and there is no better place to do it than with the amazing guys at Silva Surf School. From the very first moment they make you feel confident, with certified instructors, super professionals and a very good vibe. Before entering the sea we had a brief but super useful theoretical session of about 10 minutes, where we reviewed the technique, safety and how to read the waves. That made all the difference once we were in the water. I want to highlight especially Oniver, who was my instructor during the group class. Patient, funny, and always encouraging me to keep trying. We laughed a lot and grabbed great vibes throughout the session. I felt that more than a class, it was a complete experience: learning, adrenaline and pure fun. I highly recommend Silva Surf School. I leave with amazing memories and a lot of desire to return. Thanks guys, see you next wave!

Awesome team! Beautiful place! A must do for first timers! - This surfing lesson was the best! I rented a board once about 15 years ago and couldn’t figure out how to catch a wave. The instructors were so helpful and got me up a few times during the first lesson! If you are hesitant at all to give it a go, don’t be. All of the instructors were so friendly and excited to help. Just do it!

Fantastic beginners... - Fantastic beginners lessons for surfing. I didn't think I would be able to ride any waves on my first lesson, but I surprised myself. The waves are very smooth for beginners.

Great surfing lesson - This was our first time surfing and our coach was super patient and taught us loads. The location ( carrazillo beach ) was absolutely beautiful too. Would recommend!

Unforgettable Surfing Experience! - The most fun I’ve ever had!! This was only my second time surfing (my first was in Portugal), and I have to say — this experience was so much better! The instructors were incredibly attentive, making sure we felt confident and ready to succeed. They gave really specific instructions and made sure to choose waves that matched our skill level. On top of that, they were so nice — super friendly and funny. I loved being able to support a local business like this one! They even arranged transportation for us, which was such an unexpected bonus. Seriously, don’t waste your time — just book it. I’m already planning to bring all my friends back with me next time!
