Overcoming on the last day of the year - We hired the climb of the Vilarrica volcano with Baum Adventures. We were very well received, informed and equipped by the agency's attendants and guides! We spent more time with guide Diego who helped us a lot on the way up and especially on the way down (my wife was afraid of slipping on the snow). Congratulations Baum adventure and Diego!

Incredible tour, exceptional guides! - Excellent experience! The Baum team, both the administration and the guides, are super professional. Diego and Diego made the 4 hours of climbing go by very quickly thanks to their conversations. The equipment provided by Baum exceeded expectations! Although the authorities have not yet given permission to go up to the crater, the tour is worth it!!!

Great Views! - The trip to the volcano is very quick, and we arrived along with the sunrise in the morning. Guides were great at keeping us at a steady pace and teaching us how to use the gear/equipment. Even though I had a slight knee injury, I was able to reach the topmost views and take in the entire landscape in the area. We were unable to slide down due to the amount of ice that was forming that day but it was otherwise a great trip!

Unforgettable Experience - It was simply exciting, beautiful, breathtaking...mountain full of snow, we saw smoke coming out of the mouth of the active volcano. We went up with the help of a super experienced guide, kind and full of stories that enriched our experience. a place that everyone should visit. The city is beautiful, elegant, organized with smiling people and all the shops we need. I left the mountain feeling privileged to have had the chance to see an active volcano.

Fantastic day on Villarrica! - This was a great experience! Even though we were not allowed to climb all the way to the summit (by law, because the volcano was slightly active) this was a spectacular trip! Very friendly and personal guidance all day long! I'd immediatly do this again with Baum!

Once in a lifetime opportunity! - Climbing the Villarrica volcano was truly an unforgettable experience. Hiking above the clouds to the crater of an active volcano is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Baum Adventure provided us with excellent equipment and friendly, experienced guides who prioritised our safety at all times, giving clear instructions in English, as well as Spanish. We also did Baum Adventure’s “Rafting Alto” whitewater rafting experience, which gave us the biggest adrenaline rush, so if you’re looking for outdoor adventures in Pucón, I would 100% recommend this professional, trustworthy tour agency.

Awful. they lost our reservation, were late to pick us up, and pawned us off with another company without telling us. - They were supposed to pick us up at our hotel at 6am. They weren't replying to my messages and 6am came and went while my husband and I were trying to get ahold of them and waiting for them. They finally replied at 6:30am asking for information on our booking because they didn't know we had booked them. I booked them a month in advance. I had prepaid and had a confirmation number and everything. They finally come pick us up after I had to give them proof of my booking even though they should have had that in their system. They dropped us off at what we thought was the company's office. we were rushed to get ready since we were so late and hurried into a van with no instruction. It was all so confusing and chaotic. After the hike, they brought us back to the same office from that morning, and we asked when they would be taking people back to the hotels (The booking said they would pick us up from the hotel and then drop us back off to the hotel at the end of the trip). Only then did the guide inform us that we had been pawned off on different company than the one we booked. Because the company that we booked was full and they lost our reservation, they had no room for us, so they just dropped us with someone else without telling us what was going on. The company we did the hike with told us they wouldn't drop us back off at our hotel because they would rather sit around and drink beers. So, we were stuck in the town with no way to get back to our hotel. The only way we got back to our hotel finally was because one of the guides was sweet and took us back in his own personal car. Do not book with this company. Choose anyone else. I had a very poor experience with this whole excursion. Their communication is very poor, and they don't care what happens to their guests.
