• Farol do Bugio - We will be sailing along an itinerary chosen to see all the iconic monuments and points of interest the Rio Tejo offers. The Fort of São Lourenço do Bugio is located in the middle of the waters at the mouth of the Tagus River. It includes the Bugio Lighthouse in its structure.
• Torre de Belem - A point of historical interest. This tower symbolizes Portugal’s maritime and colonial power in early modern Europe. It was built during the height of the Portuguese Renaissance and is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style.
• 25 de Abril Bridge - An impressive bridge resembling its US counterpart in San Francisco. The 25 de Abril Bridge is a suspension bridge connecting the city of Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, to the municipality of Almada on the left (south) bank of the Tagus River. It has a main span length of 1,013 meters (3,323 ft), making it the 48th longest suspension bridge in the world.
• Praca do Comercio (Terreiro do Paco) - One of the most iconic and historical landmarks. Facing the Tagus (Tejo) to the South, the plaza is still commonly known in Portuguese as Terreiro do Paço, as it hosted the Paço da Ribeira (transl. Royal Palace of Ribeira) until the latter was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon earthquake.
