We had a wondeful... - We had a wondeful experience learning about the oil growing process and business, how to identify and properly taste the oils, how to pair them with food etc. David is a charming teacher with a great mix of info and humor. Dinner was stunning and the setting a delight. This is a for sure to do item for anyone with interest in olives, food and clever small entrepreneurs.

A must do - great food and experience - We are so grateful that David was able to squeeze us in before they finished for the season. My wife and I did this experience 5 years ago and after raving about it to everyone we know, our family wanted to experience it too. The tour of the olive grove and EVOO process was so informational. We all had fun learning about the kinds of trees and attributes found in the olive oil, and tasting the oil. Dinner was also fantastic! Giorgia’s home cooked meal is always the highlight of the trip! If she turned her recipes into a cookbook, I would be her biggest supporter (here is the hint to make one!!). The view from the terrace is so lovely and relaxing, which was the perfect place to enjoy the food. The location is just a quick drive up from Montecatini Terme and it’s easy to find. We were able to buy his olive oil that was used during dinner, so make sure to get some yourself! The next time we’re in Italy, we’ll be back to visit Agriturismo Tananei - presumably with more family until all of us are professional sommeliers. Thanks again for a wonderful evening David, Giorgia, and Dog!

A must on your Tuscany tour - The olive oil tour was excellent... To see the olives and then understand the process, was fun and enlightening. We learned a lot about olive oil, the production and the how to spot a good from a bad olive oil. The tour was very informative and David explained everything in an easy way...best class room ever !! And the dinner...excellent, we couldn't have ask for more..we highly recommend the farm and tour, we will be back !! Ray and Thorsten

Fantastic olive oil experience and local dinner - David and Georgia were amazing! David did a great job explaining how olive oil is made and more importantly, how to find good olive oil. The dinner was also amazing and I really appreciated them tying in traditional Tuscan food with their olive oil.

Fun and interesting Tuscany experience! - Tananei is a little gem of a place to stay at! The olive oil experience was a great add on, and price is reasonable for both the experience and dinner (with wine!) David is knowledgeable, and takes great pride in sharing. It is a good set up with facts, walk among the olive trees, sampling, dinner and some fun at the end! Recomended! Family, friends or couple, equally suitable. Steep hills, so good footwear needed.

Unique experience - We took the olive tour while staying at David and Georgia’s farm. There’s definitely a lot of useful tips and knowledgeable learned about olive oils and the olive oil themed dinner was very delicious and unique

Educational and fun! - The Extra Virgin Olive Oil experience was great! It was fun and educational. David is a wonderful teacher and story teller. We left with specific information on buying olive oil, a better understanding of the olive & oil process and a wonderful dinner. Who knew olive oil and basil can start an ice cream topping?

Worth every penny. Amazing amazing. - The best meal I have had in Europe I have been travelling for 20 days. Finally found a meal and experience that is worth giving a review. I never write reviews but this place is unreal. GET OUT of the touristy trap and do this amazing tour. I learned so much. Thank you so much. Next time I will book in a year advance and try and stay with you guys.

Fantastic experience - From beginning to end they had our full attention - what a great experience. We were taken along their personal road to becoming an olive oil sommelier with all hurdles, sweat, devotation and love to creating an extraordinary product. We were also very lucky to having a wonderful group joing this experience.
