Local Guide with Real Insight - Our guide, Giuseppe was a local who clearly loved his hometown. He shared stories about the town’s past, from the ancient Aragonese Castle where Napoleon’s brother-in-law, Joachim Murat, was executed, to the quiet fishing traditions still alive today.
The tour wasn’t rushed. We wandered through cobbled alleyways, took in sweeping views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, and stopped at tucked-away piazzas that felt like movie sets. There was plenty of time for photos and questions.
We visited the Piazza della Repubblica, where locals gather day and night. It’s a lively square surrounded by cafes and gelaterias, blending history with everyday life. The only thing I want to comment on is that he didn’t wait for us despite us being on time but got a hold of him and he came back for us.

Worthwhile walking tour of Pizzo - Giuseppe was personable and on time. His English skills were excellent. He showed show us a part of Pizzo we likely would not have found on our own. He was knowledgable; sharing with us a little bit of Pizzo’s history and plans for its future. He answered our many questions quite happily. And he pointed us to the best Tarfuto in town and to not miss the Church Piedigrotta which were great recommendations.

A Must-Do in Calabria – Amazing Tour with Giuseppe! - If you’re visiting Calabria, don’t miss a tour of Pizzo Calabro with Giuseppe Scuticchio! He’s a local who knows the town inside and out – from its fascinating history to hidden corners, scenic viewpoints, and the best photo spots. His passion for his hometown is contagious, and he made the experience come alive in such a special way.
I did the tour with my two teenage daughters, and we all absolutely loved it. It was fun, informative, and full of personal touches that made it truly memorable. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip – a perfect mix of culture, beauty, and connection. Highly recommended!

Wonderful. - An unforgettable experience in Pizzo Calabro!
We had the pleasure to join the guided tour in Pizzo Calabro and it was just fantastic! Our guide was impeccable: extremely prepared, passionate and able to tell the story and curiosities of this beautiful place in an engaging and never boring way. It made us discover hidden corners, fascinating anecdotes and authentic traditions that we would hardly have known alone. Each explanation was clear and full of interesting details, all accompanied by a sympathy that made the ride even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to know Pizzo Calabro in an authentic and special way!

An unforgettable experience in the heart of Pizzo - My partner and I took part in the Pizzo walking tour with Giuseppe and we were thrilled! From the first steps we felt welcomed by a passionate, prepared and really nice guide. The tour was a perfect mix of history, local culture and little-known curiosities, told with great enthusiasm.
We discovered hidden corners of the village, strolled through alleys full of life and colors, heard fascinating stories about the Murat castle and the traditions of Pizzo. The most exciting moment? The sunset view of the sea, with a taste of the famous artisan truffle in a historic bakery: simply magical.
We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience Pizzo in an authentic way, through the eyes of those who really love it. Thanks Giuseppe, we will be back soon!

An extraordinary experience to say the least - On the occasion of a visit by several Erasmus students, we went to Pizzo to eat ice cream and booked this tour with Giuseppe.
What can I say, simply wonderful, both because we have seen the characteristic places that otherwise we would never have known, and for the extraordinary guy that is him, extremely available and knowledgeable of different languages (so much so that he did the tour in 4 different languages just to meet the needs of all participants).
And then, as already written by others thing not to be underestimated, gives great advice on what to see in Calabria, things that I myself being Calabrian I am not ashamed to say that I have never even heard of.

Among the secrets of Pizzo, jewel of the Tyrrhenian Sea - Really nice tour to discover the secrets of Pizzo Calabro. Giuseppe is a very prepared person, who in addition to a deep historical-geographical knowledge, has also shown himself very willing to interact and answer all the questions we asked him.
The anecdotes about Pizzo are really interesting, and the photos we took from the viewpoints are nothing short of wonderful. Among other things we were lucky enough to find a great time to witness a breathtaking sunset from one of the terraces of Pizzo.
Finally, Giuseppe deserves a thank you for all the advice he gave us about staying in Calabria and places to visit. He is very popular on social media and posts really interesting content for anyone who wants to organize their holiday in this beautiful land.

pleasant walking tour - Giuseppe was already available for us in advance, which was good for us as we had a few time changes. On site he took the time and showed us the city and explained everything with a pleasant calm and serenity.

Visit nice but to improve. - The young guide gave some historical notions and current life, did not explain anything about the main square and other places.
It took us to streets with some beautiful details with wonderful views that surely if I had made the visit alone I would not have seen.
I expected a more complete guided tour.
