Wonderful place! - Very very nice place, well equipped (apart from the very uncomfortable outdoor bathroom), we spent a very nice evening with friends. Food and wine very very good and the oil is fabulous! And on another visit we made after a hike with a Guide, they showed us the wineries, beautiful!

In Vino Veritas - We originally booked Picnic in the Olive Trees grove, but because of the chilly and very windy weather, Mazzarosa winery nestled on the Adriatic coast in Rosetta, has accommodated us with a different experience. We toured the winery, and had a picnic and wine tasting inside. Our Guide Sarah was amazing. She had great English, could converse on any topic, answer all of our questroins and tell us about the history of the place, which one of the claim to fame that it has the Largest wooden barrel in all of Europe. We loved all of the food, quality of wine, conversation and overall expereince. Thank you, and we will be sure to visit you again next time!

Excellent Tenuta Mazzarosa - Wonderful experience Everyone was available and welcoming. The doctor who accompanied us on the tour of the cellar was technically simple and uniquely cheerful. We were also lucky enough to have met the director and owner of the estate, one of the Marquises Devincenzi, during the tour. Then they accompanied us to a huge olive grove with benches and tables ready to welcome us for our experience. After a few minutes one of the collaborators arrived and brought us all sorts of goodies. Four picnic baskets with typical local cheeses and cured meats, home-produced honey, fruit, almonds and two bottles of wine chosen by us upon arrival. Extraordinary.

Excellent experience - Historic winery surrounded by greenery a stone's throw from the sea, very well maintained and with a lot of attention to detail. Among the various proposals we chose the picnic among the olive trees and the guided tour of the cellars. Initially, the young but highly trained and passionate winemaker illustrated the history of the winery and the production procedures to us in an engaging way. Subsequently we were given some very nice baskets full of all the good things: pecorino cheese, cured meats, bread with excellent oil, fresh and dried fruit, honey and the wine we had chosen, together with everything needed for the equipment. The picnic took place inside an olive grove and it was possible to choose to use the lovely structures made available, adding cushions and tablecloths present on site, or on the grass opting for blankets, also made available to us disposition. The experience, already highly recommended in itself, is made even better by the special attention of the lady at the reception, who gave us a series of very welcome and above all unnecessary attentions.

Nice Experience - Setting was gorgeous. Staff was friendly. Food was ok; could have been more varied and pales in comparison to a food and wine tasting we did a few days earlier in Puglia. The wine (we could choose any bottle; nice touch) with picnic, was superb. Winery tour was very interesting. Tour guide was knowledgeable on the history part but weak on the wine making techniques used by the winery. All in all, a nice experience that could have even been better with a few improvements.
