Perfect Setting - Perfect location, lunch was amazing.
Only issue is if not driving, you cannot get a taxi, it is near on impossible in the area.

A great Tuscan Experience - Beautiful landscape, tour guide was excellent, and the food and ambiance of the room during the wine tasting was perfect! It was a great way to learn about and enjoy wine from Tuscany.

Wonderful wine tastings and luncheon at Tenuta Guardastelle - What a wonderful find this was! We came across Tenuta Guardastelle on the way to San Gimignano and did the wine tour and luncheon and it was fabulous! The tour and our guide were lovely and the views are ridiculous! So gorgeous. Then we enjoyed the fantastic and delicious luncheon with the wine pairings. All of it was superb! A highlight of our time in Tuscany. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic! - Fantastic hours at this fine vineyard a little bit outside San Gimignano. We went back and forth without much trouble.
Were well received and got a lovely tour where it was told about grapes, the process from picking to winemaking.
After this we had to sit down at table and we were served a delicious lunch with cold cuts. Vinerna.....wow! I'm not a red wine lover but could appreciate them anyway.
As a tomato allergy sufferer, it is not always easy in Italy but they had no problem finding alternatives for me.
The vineyard itself is so incredibly nice and is located with magical views in all directions.

Beautiful Vineyard - A beautiful winery and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Our tasting of both the wines and olive oil was amazing. The lunch was amazing and we had just the perfect day at the vineyard. Thanks Again

Love this experience! - We loved this tour. The winery site is about a 30 minute walk outside the city walls. Once there you are greeted with great views of the surrounding area. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The tour is very informative on what makes Vernaccia di San Gimignano so special and on what Tenuta Guardastelle does to make their wines so appealing. They do not skimp on this lunch and each dish was delicious and represented the Tuscan way. A few people had some dietary restrictions but the kitchen handled the requests without any problems. After a morning of traveling this experience was great way to enjoy the area.

Terrific Wine Tasting and Lunch Experience in the Hills below San Gimignano - Guardastelle is a beautiful small vineyard and we tasted all five of their wines - two whites and three reds. Fausto was a great host and shared lot of info about the history of grapes and wine making in the San Gimignano area along with details of the vineyard’s production. The tasting lunch was terrific as are the wines and the setting is lovely. Would highly recommend. A nice escape from the crowds in San Gimignano!
