Additional Information

Roberto is intimately acquainted with each of his pigs; they are brought up in a semi-wild environment, nourished with specially chosen feed and grains sourced from the Tuscan farmlands. The encounter is as bucolic as it is memorable; following a stroll through the vineyards and olive orchard, you will get the chance to mingle with ‘Ciro’, the house pig, and get acquainted with his entourage of Cinta Senese pigs frolicking in the mud. After visiting these adorable creatures (and possibly snapping a few selfies with them), you’ll get the chance to tantalize your taste buds with a tasting plate of Cinta Senese charcuterie or a swift lunch featuring farm products, potentially harvested directly from the garden by you.

Perfect Tuscan experience with Pigs! - We were met by Roberto, the owner and he gave us a quick tour of his lovely traditional farm. It is not a large farm but he has olives, white and red grape vines and a small vegetable garden. The main focus was the pigs but all his wine and oil is produced for his own use and for the tours. We met the pigs and saw the young ones running around. They are very happy pigs. Then we had a tasting lunch with Tuscan bread, pate, all the varieties of pig based products he produces on the farm, they were delicious! This was accompanied by his wine, oil and his own cooking skills. A lovely way to spend a lunchtime in Tuscany.

Amazing Experience! - This experience exceeded all expectations. We were a group of 11 with ages ranging from 8 to 76. Roberto and company could not have been better hosts. The food, wine and passion for their farm were incredible. They were so engaged and full of energy. The time they spent with the kids was beyond what we would have expected. We even ran into car trouble before the tour and Roberto so kindly helped us in resolving the matter. Wonderful experience and we highly recommend it!!

Highlight of my Italian Holiday! - The visit to the farm was the highlight of my holiday. I was searching on google to find an authentic farm visit/lunch and the farm was exactly that! We had the best hospitality from Roberto and his wife, they were so welcoming and lovely and you really felt like you were welcomed into their home. The meats and wine that they produce is of the finest quality, I don’t think I have ever had cured meat this good, anywhere! If you are like us and appreciate the hard work of where your amazing Italian produce is coming from then you need to visit this charming venue. We had the lunch with beautiful home made wine which we could have bundled up and bought back home 😅

A wonderful experience, understanding the farmers role in our community and advocating for climate control - This was a wonderful experience. We so enjoyed the tour of the farm and enjoyed getting to meet the pigs, the babies, and the staff at the farm. This totally met all of our expectations and we highly recommended to anyone interested in a really fun adventure in Italy. Again, we cannot tell you how much we enjoyed this. It was a wonderful experience, learning about the environment, the pigs, the farm, and the way farmers pay attention to the environment and the surroundings. It was a wonderful experience.

Fantastic experience - This is a fantastic experience. The farm tour was the perfect length of time - we saw the olive trees, vineyard, vegetable gardens and pigs. We then saw the kitchen where they age and cure the meat. Then lunch, which was amazing. Homemade wine and assorted bruschetta, Tuscan soup, meat, platter, cheese platter, and biscotti with a dessert liqueur. We toured with a couple from the UK who returned for a second time because they loved the wine and food so much. Highly recommend!

An unexpected special day - The owner was so welcoming. Heart-warming to see a farm where the animals are loved. The lunch was wonderful and abundant. We had another activity planned which fell through so went on this activity at the last minute: it turned out to be a blessing. Gary showed us a shortcut walk back to Montepulciano and that turned out to be a delight too. We felt like locals walking the back road

A one of a kind experience - I fantastic visit to the farm. The animals are very well fed & fun to see. There were. Some piglets that were only 2 weeks old that acted like little puppies. We had an amazing meal outside & afterwards visited the market.

We will be back for sure! - The farm is so cute...the little pigs are so sweet. The owner was really kind and helpful. We ate very well in a very simple and welcoming environment...a killer ribollita and one of the best Tuscan crostini I've ever eaten. We will definitely be back.

Loved it and loved Roberto! - So so good! Roberto is wonderful and generous with his time and his food and wine! Great to get out into the country - about a 40-minute walk from the main part of town in Montepulciano, but stunning views walking through farms and vineyards to get there. Loved meeting the pigs and learning about the Tuscan ways of farming, and the “light lunch” with wine was delicious and filling. Can’t recommend highly enough.
