The S.v Francesco farm was established in 2004 in Tramonti, the verdant core of the Amalfi Coast, to revive a time-honored wine-growing tradition. This farm spans around eight and a half hectares and produces wines using grapes from three historic local families: the Bove, the D’Avino, and the Giordano. By the early 2005, the winery was equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It is located in the old estate of the Di Palma family, the current proprietors, who sought the expert guidance of Dr. Carmine Valentino from Avellino. The estate is nestled within a historic Masseria dating back to the 1700s, in the lush Park of Lattari Mountains.
The wine tasting experience commences with a tour of the ancient pre-phylloxera vineyards (300-500 years old), and the 17th-century wine cellar.
