- Monterosso al Mare - The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the “new” side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel connecting the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.
- Vernazza - Vernazza the smallest of the Cinque Terre, and commonly known as the most charming with a beautiful little port and the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which is located right on the harbour as a protective beacon for the small village. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. - Corniglia - Perched 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.
- Manarola - Manarola is located at the northern end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà which is found only in this area. We will pass by slowly to be able to see the village and take photos. There is a speed limit within the Cinque Terre National Park, so this tour has a nice, slow pace to allow you to soak in all the beautiful scenery.
- Riomaggiore - The last village of the Cinque Terre we come across is Riomaggiore. With brightly colored houses built vertically into the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five villages and is widely known for the excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore footpath begins, which leads to nearby Manarola. From Riomaggiore, we will exit the National Park of the Cinque Terre and head down the coast towards Portovenere. As we cruise along, you will see the beautiful terraced hillsides and secluded crystalline coves only accessible by boat. There will be time to swim in the crystal clear waters.
- Portovenere - Portovenere, often referred to as the sixth village of the Cinque Terre, is also considered to be the most beautiful of the coastal villages in the region. With this tall, narrow, brightly coloured houses that line the harbour and the incredible St. Peter’s Church on the cliff side, Portovenere is a sight not to be missed! Here we will await the sunset while enjoying an aperitivo of local pesto and focaccia served with local white wine, beer, water and soft drinks. After that, we will sail through the Gulf of the Poets to La Spezia where the tour will end shortly after sunset.
