Once in a lifetime experience. - Absolutely once in a lifetime. Like being invited over by your Italian Auntie to finally be taught your favorite recipes. Barbara and Stefano are hilarious and warm and wonderful and their location is spectacular. Trust her, though, that it is hard to get to. Location not for the faint of heart. My girlfriend and I will never forget this experience.

Fantastic cooking class In Riomaggiore with Giulia! - We loved our cooking class with Giulia. She was so sweet and easy to talk with and absolutely knows her way around a kitchen. Her apartment was located centrally in downtown Riomaggiore and easy to find. There was just 3 people total in the class and she typically has no more than 4 or 5. Very intimate setting with a cute view and breeze with tons of natural light. She taught us everything from making the pasta ourselves plus the spinach filling for the raviolis and spaghetti with the left over pasta. We even made Tiramisu which was really really great! We all sat down and had a fantastic dinner with wine and great conversation. The stuffed Raviolis and pasta with pesto were delicious! Seriously some of the best if not the best pasta we’ve had in Italy. If you get the chance sign up for this class with Giulia! You won’t regret it. A fun way to see how the locals do it and learn along the way. She even gives a detailed recipe afterwards so you can try it at home. Bravo Giulia!

Cook like a Cinque Terra resident. - The setting for this experience submerges you into the Cinque Terre life. Barbarino and Stephon make you feel at home in their home and share their life experiences through their cooking. We spent 4 plus hours cooking eating and drinking local dishes including pastes from scratch. I would do this day again and again because our host made us feel so relaxed. They made our trip very special.

The finest pasta we've ever had, made with our own hands. - It was a wonderful experience away from the Cinque Terre crowd. Barbara and Stefano are very welcoming. The view from the terrace where we had the class is beautiful, and the three dishes we cooked were delicious and made of high-quality local ingredients.

Fun cooking experience - What a great way to spend an Italian evening! Giulia was a wonderful host while we made homemade pasta, tiramisu and ravioli. She also sent all recipes of what we made and we can’t wait to make at home for our friends and family. Thank you to Giulia!

Excellent Experience!! - I want to set the stage in your mind and try to describe this unbelievable adventure. We drove to Riomaggiore as close to the cooking class location as possible, and luckily there was a parking garage. We located the house with the help of a very kind garage attendant, who also informed us of a weather alert (heavy rains) which they take very seriously. We got there early and walked around the beautiful town. It is like a postcard. We returned to the class location and sat there marveling at some older people climbing massive stone stairs, wondering how hard it must be to manage this task daily. We saw another younger woman coming down the same steep staircase, and it was Giulia, our chef/teacher for the evening. She led us through a maze of stairs and hallways up to a beautiful apartment and she welcomed us inside. We were immediately served some espresso and delicious cheese and meats to snack on while we spent time sharing about Giulis's family history and ours. Giulia was very good cook and explained everything, teaching us to prepare fresh ravioli and pasta, as well as a delicious tiramisu. We drank wine, dined on our creations, and had wonderful conversation. This is not just a cooking class. It is a MUST do experience!!
