San Domino - As the largest and most picturesque of the Tremiti Islands, San Domino is often referred to as “The Garden of Paradise” by the friars. It boasts a distinctive Aleppo pine forest, which visitors can explore via well-marked paths, encountering typical Mediterranean flora such as myrtle, rosemary, phillyrea, mastic, and juniper. Cala Matano is a stunning natural inlet with a small cove accessible from above via a path, named after a duchess. It offers amenities like umbrellas and deck chairs. Other beautiful spots include Cala dello Spido, Cala degli Inglesi, Cala dei Benedettini, Cala Tamariello, and Cala Tonda, which forms a picturesque lake. Cala delle Arene is the only sizable sandy beach in the Tremiti archipelago.
