Villa Troubetzkoy - We sail past Villa Troubetzkoy, built in 1800 by Russian prince Alexandre Troubetzkoy.

Villa Cademartori - We sail past Villa Cademartori. In 1842, Giorgio Mylius, a merchant and banker of German origin, acquired this building from Artaria, one of the most renowned publishers of the time. The building, possibly from the 18th century, had long been a traditional family holiday spot.

Torno - We sail past the picturesque village of Torno, featuring the church, Hotel Mandarin/Villa Roccabruna, Villa Pliniana, and Villa Plinianina.

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como - We sail past the villa built on the site of opera singer Giuditta Pasta’s home, where composers like Gaetano Donizetti, Gioacchino Rossini (who completed “Anna Bolena” here), and Vincenzo Bellini (who wrote two operas here, including “La Sonnambula” and “Norma”) stayed. It is now a famous hotel.

Isola Comacina - We sail around Comacina Island, a captivating island in Lake Como with a rich history.

Villa del Balbianello - We sail past Villa Balbianello, the most famous villa on the lake and one of the most renowned villas in the world, featured in “Star Wars” and “007” movies.

Tremezzina - We sail past the Tremezzo and Tremezzina area, featuring Villa Carlotta, Grand Hotel Tremezzo, and historic villas.

Bellagio - We sail past Bellagio.

Villa Le Fontanelle - We sail past Villa Le Fontanelle, famous for being the home of Gianni Versace. The yellow-painted, four-story building was constructed in the first half of the 19th century in neoclassical style by the eccentric Lord Charles Currie, an Englishman who fell in love with Lake Como. Unable to find a villa for sale, he built his own right on the water’s edge. It was later owned by Antonio Besana, a friend of composer Giuseppe Verdi.

Cernobbio - We sail past Villa Pizzo, Villa D’Este, and Villa Erba in Cernobbio.

Villa Olmo - We sail past Villa Olmo, built in the 18th century and one of the main symbols of the city of Como. This famous and opulent historic home reflects the tradition of noble families of the time to own a suburban residence. It is surrounded by a large Italian garden and is part of the coastal path that, since the 19th century, connects the villas overlooking the lake from Borgovico to Villa d’Este in Cernobbio.

Laglio - We sail past Villa Oleandra in Laglio, famous for being George Clooney’s house in Como, where he often spends his summer holidays.
