- Cantine Paololeo - Join us for an authentic and interesting Wine&Food experience in Salento, between tradition and innovation, local delicacies and the amazing wines from Paololeo winery.\n\nThe Tour includes: \n\n- Meeting at the winery: guided tour in the Cantine Paolo Leo, where you will see one of the most modern production wine system in Apulia, visiting the production, bottling and ageing departments.\n\n- Vineyards: a relaxing walk in the vineyards, surrounded by characteristic bush vines, ancient olive trees and typical masserie.\n\n\n- Wine shop Paololeo - - Wine Shop: visit to the new Paololeo’s shop, the ancient family’s winery, which has recently undergone a refurbishment. It’s been converted in a fantastic Wine Museum, with a lovely shopping area where you can choose from a wide range of wines by bottle, a refill system, Salento’s local products and many gift ideas.\n\nTASTING, which includes:\n\n- EVO Olive Oil with homemade bread;\n- 3 wines paired with the typical Salento aperitif goodies: such as cured meat and local cheeses, olives and taralli, frisa (traditional types of crunchy and savoury bread) with tomatoes.\n- 1 raisin wine or Grappa paired with a delicious sweet artisan treat.\n- 1 coffee

We’ll delve into the core of the wine production process as we traverse the manufacturing, bottling, and maturation zones, enveloped by the powerful scent of wines. We’ll take a stroll through the vineyards surrounded by traditional Apulian bush vines while you uncover the clandestine of this age-old vine cultivation that we guard so earnestly. We’ll narrate the tale of our enterprise, set in the backdrop of the ancient fermentation tanks, which our forbears once used to craft wine. In our sampling room, you’ll bask in a culinary and wine expedition with the conventional Salento appetizer in combination with our selection of wines. We welcome aficionados, inquisitive minds, and specialists alike, because the real artistry of wine lies in COMMUNION! WE ANTICIPATE YOUR VISIT… Please note, you’ll need to bring your own vehicle for the tour.

Great tour - Really enjoyable wine tour! Paula was a very informative guide (in perfect English) and answered all of our questions. We explored all parts of the wine making process. We tried some fantastic wines (top tour) paired well with food. Group of 4 adults, we all had a great time.

Taralvino Tour - Great Intro to some lovely wines! - Four of us visited Paololeo on Monday the 1st July and did the Taralvino tour which was 29 Euros. Our tour included a visit to the winery proper (which was very impressive, clean and expanding!) and then onto the shop to do the wine tasting.
Our host (Paola) was great, she spoke very good English and was able to explain the stages involved in harvesting the grape and when it came to the wine tasting she took time and gave us some handy tips on how to taste the wine properly.
The selected wines were great and I could not do them justice here but we bought a few bottles for dinner that evening - all told for 29 Euro's we thought the tour and the tasting was great value for money and an excellent way to spend a Monday lunch time - thank you to Paola and the team that hosted us - we hope to be back one day and try some more!

Wine, food and friendliness - Superlative experience. The winery guide as well as the wine tasting was without a doubt one of the best I have ever had. This is thanks to the professionalism, friendliness and empathy of Valentina and all the staff. Highly recommended.

Absolutely recommended if you enjoy wine! - My husband and I got a tour from Paola in English. Her passion for wine was certainly noticeable, she took all her time and spoke perfect English. She showed us all the steps and told great stories about the production and Paololeo's vision. The tasting was very pleasant with delicious wines, good explanations and in-depth information about the wines. The production building was in very good condition and beautifully designed! The store looked beautiful, where the old wine production has been creatively designed. A beautiful balance between tradition and moving with the times. Highly recommended!

Experiecing Puglia winery was a highlight of our trip - Great experience! One of the highlight of our entire trip to Puglia. Delicious wines, very good snacks and a great guide explaining us in English about their wines.
We had to pay upfront, so that information in Tripadvisor doesn't seem to be correct. We were running late because of our own fault but it was handled with flexibility by Cantine Paololeo. The entire experience is highly recommended by us.
