Providence Has Secrets - As a visitor to Providence, I was curious about the history of the city. Courtney made history come alive on the tour. She offered exclusive interesting facts that one would not find in a history book but rather it felt like you were reading an old diary from the 1800's, exposing some personal stories from this era, including secrets you would never know about Edgar Allan Poe for example. Courtney's passion for history and the preservation of Providence was evident during our time together.

Great way to spend a morning and step back in time. - This tour was fun and informative. Our guide had so many exciting stories, which made it very entertaining. It differed from some tours, where the guide checks notes for each stop. It also ties history to today, and you can see the impact of the people and places that she talked about on the current city.

Fantastic historical narratives! - I had a really great time on this tour—the guide had unique and interesting stories from multiple centuries for various houses and buildings along Benefit Street. You learn about the founders and the Brown family and others into the late 1900s. The costume just added to it all! Highly recommend!
