Highly recommended Douro Tour - We had a wonderful tour in the Douro Valley! Pedro was an incredibly funny and attentive guide, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The schedule was perfectly organized, giving us enough time to see everything without feeling rushed. Highly recommended!

Best day of our trip - Pedro was fantastic!!!! He has such a great personality and sense of humour. The tour itself was amazing! Pedro was so knowledgeable on everything he told us and I left feeling like I learned without being lectured. Every winery we went to dedicated time and compassion to our group, teaching us about their winery and the history surrounding each one. I definitely recommend!! We made some great friends and left tipsy at the very least!!!

Cheila is a great tour guide! - We had a wonderful experience with a private tour with Cheila. She gave us wonderful information and service. She was attentive to us and we enjoyed the views, scenery and wine tour stop. This are of Portugal is amazing and I would think the e tea money for a private tour was worth every penny! Ask for Cheila you won’t be disappointed.

A must do in Porto! - We loved this tour. It was private for my family. 2 adults and 2 kids. Sandro our driver and tour guide made our day pleasant, was very caring with our kids and very thoughtful of everything. Good conversation during our drive, sharing hospitality,history and local charm to our day. Lunch was a typical portuguese meal which I describe as comfort food, it was very good.
River cruise was very nice as well and everything running on time.
Our favorite part was the porto tasting with Teresa from Villa do Souza. She was the most charming lady, very knowledgeable of wine making, sharing stories and making sense of all the process and somehow we left like we knew her since forever. Very genuine and we left with our hearts full after that conversation with her.

Fantastic,no crowds and beautiful scenic venues - Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable, so amazing to visit family owned and boutique venues,no crowds from a tour bus,so we saw several beautiful venues that we probably wouldn’t have been able to access in a large group. absolutely recommend this tour!!

Unforgettable Day in the Douro Valley - This tour through the Douro Valley was truly the highlight of our trip to Portugal! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and packed with unforgettable moments. Traveling by minibus allowed us to relax and take in the stunning scenery without any stress, and every stop offered something unique—from sipping world-class wines and ports, overlooking stunning vineyards to enjoying a delicious traditional Portuguese lunch in a beautiful setting.
A special shoutout to our guide, Pedro, who made the experience absolutely exceptional. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the day. His passion and deep understanding of the Douro wine region and its history really enriched the tour and his warm personality made everyone feel welcome and at ease.
The wine and port tastings were top-notch, with generous pours and plenty of insight from passionate boutique winemakers. The river cruise was the perfect peaceful break, offering breathtaking views of the terraced vineyards.
If you’re considering a trip to the Douro Valley, I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Should you be lucky enough to get Pedro as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience.

Breathtakingly lovely! - We joined three other couples as Pedro escorted us in the Mercedes van to a couple of boutique wineries with a river cruise in between. They take their wine very seriously in Douro Valley for a good reason. We learned about Portuguese culture, tasted some fantastic ports/wine and were awed by the vistas. We all agreed, that we were very fortunate to have Pedro as guide because he imparted so much knowledge all with a great sense of humor. We highly recommend this same tour, or even better, a three day tour.

A beautiful day in the Douro Valley - We took this all day tour with Pedro and it was a wonderful day. Pedro was absolutely brimming with information and told us everything we needed to know about the places we visited and on the way there. We started with a short river cruise, which was very relaxing and had beautiful views of the steep vineyard hills. Next we went to a winery for a wine and olive oil tasting. We learned so much about olive oil! The vineyard is located in top of the hills near the river and the view was spectacular. It looked fake it was so beautiful. Next we went into town for a traditional meal and then finished at a port vineyard. All of seven of us aged 20- 54 loved the experience.
The only thing we would change next time would be to order a charcuterie board at the first vineyard and stay longer, skipping the lunch. A fantastic experience!!
